Green Lodge Moorea

With private pass to the beach, a quiet space and friendly staff. It is ideal for looking for charm and intimacy in Moorea. The access surprises from the beginning, as well as the spaces, but enormously compensates for the tranquility, friendliness and professionalism. High quality breakfast and intimate space to be comfortable on an island like Moorea, where hotels and tourist resorts merge. This is a lovely peaceful spot. Small lodge with the owners on site. Isabelle and Jean Luc were so kind and helpful. Lovely pool and view of the Pacific from each room. Very generous continental breakfast. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

The Green Lodge is so charming and beautiful. The owners, Isabelle and Jean Luc couldn't be more welcoming and hospitable. The food is delicious. The continental breakfast is generous. My room had everything that you'd need. They have two nice dogs and several cats. Would go back in a minute.

Property is off the beaten path, isolated which we liked. My husband spent hours sitting at a cabana watching the wild ocean waves crashing to the shore. They serve breakfast (fruits and jelly), and we ordered omelets for an extra fee. They also serve lunch and dinner except on Sundays. Bring SNACKs. I wish we did. It would have solved a lot of my food cravings.

This is a pleasant, nicely decorated and attractive small lodge. However, it is very much a small family run place, in which the hosts are not particularly hospitable or helpful. And their response to other reviews here is indicative. As a prime example, they decided not to do any other food, other than the basic breakfast included, on Chris**as Day, without warning me. If someone is going to open for guests, they should either provide the meals required or warn people in advance, as I could have brought something to eat from Papeete, rather than having nothing to eat on Chris**as Day. They did not help me to find anything else, and all the local places that I could walk to (as I was not able to drive) were closed. I would not stay here if you are not going to hire your own vehicle, or if you are going to be alone. The special dinner on Chris**as Eve was nicely organised, with a glass of champagne, but the volume was excessive. Other dinners were very nice. You are not able to control the temperature of the air conditioning. Ok, it will only be on when you put your card (attached to the keys) in the system, but as we all sleep at different temperatures, sometimes for medical reasons, it would be best to be able to control the temperature. It is not on the nicest of beaches, with limited sand, much broken coral and pebbles, but it does have a good view of Tahiti island. There are much nicer beaches on Moorea island. The lagoon tour organised with Tikki Tours was excellent, but the island tour with Franky Franck was less so. Make your choice for staying on Moorea based on the various different reviews of this place.

This was such an incredible property. We loved how peaceful it was. It was lovely from start to finish with the greeting from the owner Isabella to the delicious breakfasts to the ocean sounds at night, beautiful cabana, we could not have been happier! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The accommodation itself was very nice. The bed was comfy, the aircon was great, and the shower overlooking the sea was very nice. The breakfast was very tasty and the lady's who prepared the food and served us were very friendly and looked after us well. The only negative for us was that we could hear other morning alarms which meant that we woke up a bit earlier than we would have liked, otherwise, we would stay here again!

Nice stay. Accommodations were pleasant. Limited options at breakfast-fruit and pastries-with an upcharge for eggs. Dinner was extremely limited menu with no options for vegetarians so we had to venture out to eat. Brought food back but were told we had to eat in our room (with no table) because they have a restaurant (which didn’t open for an hour and a half). Pretty beach but rough and did not try to get in.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here in late June, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was a fantastic introduction to French Polynesia. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location is slightly off the beaten track, but is worth it, right on the beach and a little quieter. There are half a dozen or so bungalows, we were delighted with our garden view bungalow and loved the look of the stone shower (just would have like a bit more water pressure). The bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and had a large comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast of fresh fruit, bread, croissants, and jams was provided on the deck overlooking the pool. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try other meals here. I certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone considering staying here.
