Excellent location. Very charming place at the entrance to the Borgo Antico and Fabio at the reception was extremely helping and accommodating. The old part of town is run down but coming back to live is certain spots. The chapel inside Cathedral is a master piece of baroque art. The port is very charming

It’s ok for one night. But not for a longer period. The suites are not suites. Just a bigger room and tiny shower. Breakfast??? Was the poorest we have had for a long time. It’s definitely far away from a boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff incredible(Fabio,Simone and Cynthia), areas around are improving but felt safe. Easy to visit all monuments. Highly recomend.

The stay was very comfortable and most welcoming. We stayed 8 nights and used it as a base. The staff were so helpful and made us feel very much at home... We had a lot of requests as we were working and needed support but they were always accomodating. Lovely hotel.

What a delight! A short distance from the train station and the old town, restaurants in the square right outside. Lovely building beautifully restored, big rooms, decent breakfast, helpful staf. What's not to like. Sadly we had allowed ourselves only one night - this place deserved more.

Very friendly staff and beautiful updated 18th century rooms. Breakfast was great and a short walk from downtown. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a B and B style or boutique hotel.

We really enjoyed our time at the L’Arcangelo. The staff was exceptional. They were able to help whenever we asked. Francesca made check in easy and gave great support throughout our stay. The rooms were pretty simple but the balcony added a nice touch. The hotel is an easy and safe 10-15 min walk from the historical sites/new modern downtown. Taxis are rare and there is no Uber. There’s parking all around the hotel but spaces are non-descript so check in with the hotel if you’re unsure. The continental breakfast had pastries, yogurt, cereal, bread, slices of ham and cheese and fruit. Overall, this was a pleasant stay at a great price.

The hotel is an old building that is in the process of renovation as is all of the island. Our room was super charming, a rooftop overlooking the island from 3 sides. We had two private rooftop terraces that were absolutely fantastic. Fabio was wonderful and super helpful. Check in took less than 5 minutes with a full overview of the city ; where to go and what to do. We were offered a very nice welcome drink along with the personalised touch from the staff was very refreshing. Since this was an ancient building, the renovations were done very nicely keeping the charm and character of the rooms and the building. We were able to find free parking on the street for our car, which was a relief. Our breakfast was brought to us to have on our private balcony by Simone- Another personal touch- that was very welcomed. Overall, a wonderful experience that was made even better by both Fabio and Simone's personal services and touches. We will make it a point to go back as we didn't have enough time to enjoy the beautiful hotel and city.
