I have given 5/5 ad the pros hugely outweigh the cons for this hotel - if you are looking for a family break, especially with young children, I would highly recommend. Pros - Top of the list has to be the entertainment, and in particular the entertainment team. Miranda, Sean, Heather, Thiago, Martina and the rest of the team are absolutely brilliant at their jobs. They have a great way with the children and lead every activity (and there are loads, both in the day and the evening) with enthusiasm, a smile and a palpable passion for their jobs. I can't speak highly enough of them all. - The evening entertainment is particularly good for children, so ith multiple 'shows' staggered through the evening, with the later ones aimed at the older children. - On top of the activities, the facilties for children are also great. Playgrounds, splash parks, a soft play room, a baby lounge, arts/crafts - there is loads to do. - I know some have said the opposite, but I was impressed by the food in the restaurant. If you are willing to wait for the live cooking, especially, the food is cooked to order, fresh and hot. - Availability of food and drinks through the day is also good - snack bar, lots of self-serve drink stations. - The location is great, as long as you are not bothered about the lack of a beach. Very short transfer from the airport, lovely 1km walk along the coast to the next bay, quiet and unspoiled compared to more touristy towns on the island. Cons There are a few, and they are all quick fixes, so I would advise the management of the hotel to get them sorted so that they don't detract from the excellent work of their staff. - WiFi - doesn't work in most places around the hotel. Get a tech team in and invest in a proper network solution! - Showers - need upgrading. - Beds/bedding and towels - as above. - Spa/lane swimming pool - these are unnecessarily expensive for already-paying guests. Reduce the price (of the spa particularly) or remove from the selling points of the hotel and treat separately. All in all, we had an amazing time. I would love to return and hope that when we do, the quick wins will have been acted upon, but that the brilliant staff will remain!

Detailed review coming right up as the reviews on here really lacking and I was unsure what to expect when arriving. Came as a Solo, felt perfectly safe. Check in was quick and easy, passport kept overnight as usual. Room was clean and tidy, fridge with one bottle of water. No toiletries at all, soap via dispenser on wall. And dispenser in shower. Plenty of hot water but shower head was a little strange. Hair dryer in bathroom was ok for a few days, did the job. Kettle and a couple of tea bags/sugar- not replaced. No milk. New towels replaced by the maids. Safe included no extra charge. Plenty of wardrobe space etc. Lots of children around, to be expected in a Tui Blue family! My neighbours were extremely noisy one evening, had to call down to reception as their children were constantly bouncing a ball and screaming….the noise soon stopped after my phone call, thankfully. Beds were ok, mattress protectors were on top. Air con worked fine. Tv, fair few English channels and if you went into settings you could get the language back to original English. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Bar service good, local drinks, only tried the vodka and some cocktails, which were pretty good and I am fussy! Self service drinks, strawberry and tropical slush, Lemon Fanta! Albeit DIET, can’t win them all!☹️ full fat coke and diet both available, no need to bring straws there are plenty available. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate self service machines. Food- usual buffet but was pretty good! I always found plenty to eat and good quality. Was only one night when I struggled to find something I liked. Wasn’t always the warmest but typical of the canaries generally. And I am a fairly picky eater. Chocolate fountain was a plus as well. Breakfast plenty of pastries, wasn’t too keen on the hot breakfast. Churros and crepes were nice with plenty of chocolate Nutella type sauce. Pool area clean, didn’t go in the pool as was quite busy with children. Nice and quiet on the grass area and plenty of sun beds. Towels available with a towel card given at check in, no need to bring your own. Entertainment wasn’t really for me but some may enjoy it. Nice little pebbly beach at the front of the hotel but not much in close proximity. There is mini market across the road from the hotel. Bus stop also a few mins walk. Did use the spa which was quite nice. Probably wouldn’t go back as so far away from things but enjoyed my stay. Ignore the negative reviews I am fussy and had a good time at this hotel.

We just returned home from a week here with our 19 month old. I highly recommend this hotel for those with babies/toddlers in particular. Pros: Clean grounds & pools Baby pool was perfect for our toddler to splash around in Grass area with sunbeds was great for her to play on Splash park area was so much fun, she loved running around there Good variety of food each day Travel cot provided Good food choices for children, aswell as kids cutlery, microwave etc available at the restaurant 2 great play areas for small children Indoor baby room full of toys, feeding equipment, changing area etc - used this most days when we woke up early Organised baby activities were great e.g art class, story time Lovely shops & restaurants in close proximity Cons: Uncomfortable bed Evening entertainment is quite loud from the room even though we were 6 floors away Slow service at the Taverna a la carte Very rocky beach, not really useable Not a very nice walk along the promenade, pretty much alongside the motorway

Have had a real mixed experience here. We have stayed for 7 nights. Before I came I read the reviews and must admit I was quite worried. I have had ups and downs so am going to list them to make it easier. Pros - nice for the kids l, lots of entertainment and the TUI workers have been amazing (all but one). The staff have been super friendly. There has been lots of food and drinks available and the food has been mostly nice. Splash park and kids pool have been fun for the kids. Easy to get a taxi anywhere on the island and some beautiful places to see. The kids can get healthy eating badges where they collect stickers and can earn a certificate. Cons - Sunbeds are a nightmare people take them from a ridiculous time in the morning and never show up, some days haven't had any sunbeds available at all for us. Beach right outside is awful and very hard to swim in the sea especially for the kids. People smoke all around the hotel including on their balconies. The hotel has been ridiculously busy towards the end finding tables for 5 people on the restaurant has been hard and one of the days all "hot food" was actually cold. Excursions are stupidly expensive. Nobody (staff) actually informed us of anything to do with the kids club or badges most things have been found out from other guests (and we did attend the TUI) The TUI talk just felt like a push to get you to buy their excursions. All in all if you are happy getting up at the crack of dawn for a bed or aren't planning on spending the day by the pool then it's a nice place to be. Especially the staff who have mostly been lovely, friendly and helpful. For me personally I won't be returning here.

Nice one week break with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 7 year old and 4 and a half granddaughters. Just fifteen minutes from airport. Hotel was pretty full but not too difficult to find sun beds. Restaurant was busy but one strange observation if that chairs did not hit under tables so difficult to move around without banging into chairs and their occupants. Good plentiful and varied food with something for everyone. Rooms comfortable and staff very friendly. Would recommend a trip to the Aquarium in Las Palmas. A bus runs from just outside the hotel to the bus station about 400 meters from aquarium. A do it yourself trip is considerably cheaper than an organised trip from TUI. The journey is about 30 minutes. Evening entertainment was Ok. Overall we enjoyed our week and two weeks would probably have been too long

I think this was a very mixed experience for me. There are a lot of positive things to say about this hotel, but there were also something that were not as good as perhaps I had expected. I booked this hotel through TUI with my husband to join with other family members with a very young child, and I think my usual experience of child free holidays may colour the experience I therefore had, so please bare that in mind when reading this review. My room was a twin split level room, which overlooked the back of the hotel/sea/restaurants. I was on the second floor so the view was OK, it wasn't too noisy, there was a comfortable balcony with drying space for wet clothes. The room itself was very comfortable, and clean. The staff did a very good job in cleaning and ensuring everything was nice and neat when we returned to our rooms. The room towels were a bit smaller and possibly older than I would have liked, but clean and functional. There was a minifridge in the room which kept our water (bought from the supermarket over the road once the 2 litre bottle in our fridge ran out) nice and cold. There was air conditioning but we didn't really think it worked well, we did also ask for a fan, which was provided very quickly and made sleeping a bit easier. I would have liked a do not disturb tag for the door to avoid having the (friendly and efficient cleaners) coming in any time after 9am). The hotel is on a medium sized complex, it was fairly well laid out with easy access around the pools, to the restaurants and bars. Our family was over different areas of the complex but walking between them wasn't hard, and most of it was relatively flat until you got to the self catering element. There is a wide range of activities throughout the day, many of them child focused. However, some of them seem to be really short or unfocused in terms of the free activities. For example the pool disco which seemed to last about 3 songs (although I'm not sure how any staff member dressed as a giant puppy would have managed in the heat any longer). In the evenings the entertainment seemed to be quickly moving from one to another type of thing, but I personally didn't think some of it lasted long enough, for example the quiz was very quick then there was a `Where in the world' quiz and I couldn't work out how you entered that or what the actual point of it was. Activities throughout the day for children (free ones specifically) didn't seem to have any particular focus, for example here are some toys, or some paper and pens feel free to play, rather than anything led. Food/drink wise we were all inclusive. There are a couple of bars across the complex, and there are self use wine/sangria and beer taps in a few places, as well as tea/coffee/soft drinks machines. The bar closest to reception was very good, the bar staff there seemed most experienced and made fantastic cocktails. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. The cleaners clearly work incredibly hard to keep it fresh and clean. We were very happy with our room. Our room was bright and airy with twin beds and a step down lounge area and a balcony that looked out on the most stunning sea view which, was by far my favourite part of the holiday. I could see it from the bed which was a beautiful way to wake up in the mornings. There was plenty of plug sockets for all our electrical items and with all the storage space for a family. The en-suite had a big wide shower and large sink which could hold all our toiletries. Our rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and coffee. All staff were amazing. The receptionists were so helpful and informative. Everyone was very friendly and approachable and the entertainers had a great rapport with the children which was lovely to witness. The children entertainment was awesome. I would have liked more adult entertainment but it didn't dampen our spirits. Beautifully arranged gardens within the resort where you could sit and take it all in. The pools are a nice size and looked so inviting with plenty of sun loungers around. Getting a towel card for a beach towel was a bonus too. They to were washed regularly. We chose all inclusive and we were very happy with all the choices of food available. They catered for everyone there and it was all so fresh. I cant comment on the alcohol as we don't drink it but we loved the non alcoholic mojito ice drink. We didn't drink the 'Fruit Juice' as its tasted more like syrup from tinned fruit. There was plenty of other soft drinks available. When choosing a holiday for my husband and myself, we wanted a sea view and a beach. Unfortunately, this wasn't what we got. As beautiful the sea view was, the beach front was disappointing. It wasn't a beach you could really sit at in the traditional sense. A small area with sand had sun loungers you could use for a price but it was a mass of rocks and a drop down into the sea. I was really disappointed. Saying that, I still had a lovely time here and for families and friends with young children I would still recommend. I believe children would have an amazing time here. My only gripe was the lady we spoke to at the spa. We wanted to book in for a massage but the lady working there really wasn't interested in engaging with us or answering our questions. We left the spa with no booking and no interest in arranging one. Overall, it was a lovely week away and we enjoyed the time to relax, unwind and recharge.

Fab holiday as a whole, my 21 month old loved the pools, parks and entertainment. Cleaner Inma went above and beyond. Baby club facilities are brilliant. Only downside - evening restaurant is chaos, struggled to get a highchair most nights

Family hotel, not for couples. Food okay, the all inclusive package is sketchy. Meals are okay but snack bar is poor. Several cockroaches seen in the hotel itself but the worst part was we had a Rodent in our room which my Grandaughter and wife were very distressed about, we had to move into another room at 11 o'clock PM with a 4 year old child. The Hotel made it feel like they were doing us a favour moving into us another room, we had to move all our stuff over on our own the following morning. Hotel staff attitude was poor at best.
