A deeply disappointing experience – avoid this hotel Our stay at this hotel was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. While the suite itself was beautiful, well-decorated, and functional, we strongly do not recommend staying here. In what seems unbelievable for a 4-star hotel, a guest threw a bucket of cold water on us from the 3rd floor at 9:15 PM in the middle of February as we were walking back to the hotel for dinner. To make matters worse, they laughed at us afterward. When we reported the incident to the reception, the staff expressed their sympathy but dismissed the issue, saying they were not responsible for their guests’ behavior. Given the cold, the shock, and the utter lack of concern from the staff, we had no choice but to go back to our room to shower and warm up—missing our dinner entirely. We raised a formal complaint with hotel management, expecting a reasonable resolution. However, after two days, their response was essentially: They cannot be held accountable for their guests’ criminal actions. They are sorry, but not offering us a towel or allowing us to have dinner later was our problem, not theirs. The reception staff did attempt to identify the room responsible, but that was apparently the extent of their concern. For a hotel that claims to be of high standard, this level of indifference and lack of responsibility is both shocking and unacceptable. If you expect basic hospitality, guest care, and professionalism, this is not the place for you
