Perfect location close to the port and restaurants, bars. The rooms are spotless, shout out to Alexandra for her amazing hospitality services, exceptional breakfast 5 star level prepared by Panos by order, I m looking forward to my next stay

The hotel is within walking distance from the ferry docking place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that is included is very good and offered variety of choices. There are restaurants just outside the hotel. the room was clean and comfortable.

Location and price seem great… until you try to sleep. Hotel is next to an outdoor discoteque that blasts eurodance techno over the port area, the entire night until the morning. Windows have zero sound isolation and curtains let in the spotlights that illuminate the building. Hotel reception could neither give information about the closing time of the discoteque, nor provide ear plugs or a change of room. Got no sleep at all and would give zero stars if i could.

Exceptional staff. Hospitable atmosphere. The staff cared for our comfort and they've done everything they can to make us feel welcome without being tiring. They respected our privacy and our time during our holidays. The building was astonishing and the rooms absolutely clean. Everyday. The important thing for a hotelier is to constantly try to reach one level above what one's property formally has. Aktaion Hotel in Syros is doing just that.

My fiancée and I had an amazing experience at the island of Syros and especially this hotel! Hotel room was a bit tight but everything was amazing from the customer service to the fresh free breakfast and kind employees at the hotel! Thank you!

First I would like to mention, I visited Syros out of the saison! Second, we didn't make a reservation! Third, we found a perfect location. Extremly carried about guests, good advices for newcomers, flexible and entgegenkommend, interesting rooms, nice Lobby / Breakfast room. Very clean, always fresh prepared breakfasts, good price for high quality and professionalism! We felt very comfortable and by the way: very good located, we enjoyed our stay and for sure we come back in 2024! Thank you very much for this remarkable stay!

Aktaion Hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed on. The hotel has an elegant ambiance once you enter. Everything is classy in a very affordable price. To be honest i was a bit scared since its my first time travelling alone but everything went perfectly. Very safe. Normal check in is at 3pm but i arrived earlier due to my ferry arrival at Syros. Arrived 11am at the port. I went straight ti the hotel expected that ill just leave ny luggage at the reception but little did i know that they had early check out and told me I could check in already. Thank you Aktaion staff ☺️ They explained me all the details. Everything went smoothly. The location is literally by the port which everything is near the supermarkets, restaurants, cafe-bars, shops and the sights were only walking distance. I booked single room and its perfect for solo traveler. Enough space, fridge, big bathroom, smart TV. Have nice view of the port and additional just outside the room it has a small balcony. With my booking it includes breakfast. I was so shock because i can order everything from the menu and the portions are BIG portions and delicious 😍 It was really nice stay. They did housekeeping same as you just check in. The ambiance and the staff was really nice. They are friendly and always there to help. Will definitely comeback and recommend 😍

A 3-Star Hotel, which evidently more than covers the requirements of its class. Cosy, stylish rooms, some with sea-view; very clean, daily and carefully serviced. A-la-carte full breakfast, nicely served in a beautiful lounge; (you may order to eat whatever, and as much as you want, from rich continental breakfast up to omelettes, toasties, fresh yoghurt with honey as well as some Greek specialties)--The hotel to choose if you fancy a good, rich breakfast, included in the room-price! To say that the staff is friendly would be an understatement: you are treated not just as a guest, but as a good old friend! The two-storey hotel has no lift, but the staff shall help you to carry your suitcase upstairs. After all, it wouldn't be possible to install a lift in a 19th century building of this kind (now superbly and artfully renovated and decorated). The location is very handy, too--very close to the docks and a few minutes walk from the Town Hall of Ermoupolis. Definitely a most enjoyable stay; should we return to Syros, we would certainly choose this same hotel!!

The hotel is a very beautiful old building and in general terms a good choice to stay for two or three days. As it is old it comes with some flaws of the age. There are too many steep stairs which may be difficult for older people to climb especially if you stay on the top floor. Another thing, the floor and bed were creaking; we understand it is an old buildings but i suppose something can be done about it. The bathroom is very small but that is ok. We had a very nice room with a window overlooking the port and the view was really majestic. There is a lot of noise because of the bars and restaurants underneath but this is expected during a high touristic season. Breakfast was descent. Overall, a nice stay and at a location convenient in many ways.
