Lokasi sangat bagus, tepat di luar Chinatown. Kebersihan hotel relatif baik, saya sangat suka dengan perlengkapan mandinya, wanginya enak dan mirip sekali dengan produk Aesop! Kamarnya agak terlalu kecil, tapi rasio harga/kinerjanya bagus!

Kamarnya sangat bersih, ukurannya kecil tapi didekorasi dengan baik. Staf hotel juga sangat ramah. Saya suka ***a keseluruhannya.

Kami disambut dengan hangat oleh resepsionis pada malam hari saat kami tiba. Kamarnya sangat kecil, mungkin karena lokasinya di pusat kota. Restoran dan kafe di dekatnya jelas merupakan nilai tambah. Kami hanya menginap satu malam jadi kamarnya masih oke. Mesin kopi di kamar terlihat kotor dengan debu di atasnya, jadi saya tidak menggunakannya. Untuk harga dan lokasinya, saya rasa hotel ini relatif bagus di Sydney.

The hotel room floor smelled real bad. we had to use a Dettol disinfectant spray to reduce the bad smell. Hotel staff forgot to replenish toilet papers and tissue papers for our room so we had to request it from the counter. Toilet seat has to be closed during the night as we found small cockroach crawling in the toilet bowl seat. Will not come back to this hotel again.

Everything was great! The room was very small but for a clean room for one night it was perfect. Staff at reception were lovely.

Understand the cheaper price due to construction next to it. But general cleanliness of the room needs improvement! Tables and floors are dirty and lint dusts on the dead spaces

We booked the hotel from the 5th of May 2024 for our Feb trip and pay for it in advance with our ANZ daily accounts so we have less bills to pay when it’s getting closer to the date. Long story short, we checked in on 26th of March, told that there’s a deposit fee that will be refunded once we check out along with an upgrade fee we have to pay because we brought our dog with us. Paid for it without any issue on my Macquarie Card, which I never expose to anywhere every other merchant prior because it’s our mortgage account. Around midnight, I received a notification through my Macquarie bank that I have been charged by Veriu; which freaked me out! Because I paid for the stay ages ago and pay the difference on the day when I checked it. Rang the duty manager and he insisted that he didn’t charge me and said that’s it must be from the Trip; which I responded that’s impossible because my Macquarie bank wasn’t exposed to any other merchant prior to paying for the deposit and upgrade. He insisted that reach out to trip which I did. After all the conversation, the trip customer agent rang Veriu and confirmed that the night manager Raj indeed charged me even though I have paid for it and was compensated points from trip for this hassle. Imagine if my Macquarie bank doesn’t have the notification like ANZ or any other bank! The costumers won’t know until they check their bank statements!

Not far drom CBD but hotel has many step not convenient for big luggage. Room is very small.

Fantastic rooms that have lovely small details. Surprisingly very modern rooms for the older building. Loved my stay here and the staff are very attentive! Only complaint could be the one lift, but only an issue at peak times (check out and dinner time) and luckily only 4 levels of rooms also. Also great little ironing board cupboard in hallways with microwave too

I had a pleasant stay with Veriu.I requested to be moved to the other room receptionisy managed to do it for me.

Room looks old and unkempt, lighting not great for resting, some rooms can be quite noisy at night - road side room. Good service got an early check in

Took the train from Sydney airport into the centre and the hotel was easy to walk to from the station Very Friendly staff and informative. The room was an ok size, but seeing as I spent most of the days out it didn’t matter. Bathroom was huge and clean. Very central location and not too far to walk to everything I wanted to see.. Bus links nearby to easily get to bondi (cheap too)
