It was an amazing experience, the rooms are very modern and clean and Melanie was really heartwarming and helpful. The views wäre simply amazing! We would definetly come back and always choose Melanies Guesthouse! Thank You for having us!

What a win. Good location, spotlessly clean and the hosts pay a lot of attention to detail. Melanie goes out of her way to help you to get the maximum out of your stay in Swellendam. This town is a delight! There are a number of excellent eating options. A good base from which to explore the area, lots of history and wine farms.

Our two night stay at Riverbed Guesthouse was never enough to sample the delights of Swellendam. The Apar**ent had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable and was in walking distance to many great restaurants. We plan to return for longer next year

The Riverbed Guesthouse is a beautiful place in Swellendam. We felt very welcome by Melani, she is the best. She had some nice wines ready for our welcome. The rooms are very beautiful and clean and it is such a quit place. The perfect stay to relax a bit at the pool. We loved the two dogs. Thank you and I surely recommend this place!!!! Great rooms and an incredible view! Nice and friendly guest lady, two beautiful dogs that we didn't hear! Breakfast at de belle alliance was nice. Perfect stop in between, Port Elisabeth and Capetown Beautiful safe village.

This is an excellent choice for your stay in Swellendam. It has a great location near the main street of Swellendam whilst being completely private near the river that runs through the backyard of the place. The rooms are immaculate and the attention to detail fantastic. As an ex hotelier it gives me such great pleasure to see these small scale operations doing so well. Riverside has only 4 rooms that each have a terrace with sufficient privacy. The rooms are large and the bathrooms oversized. Good amenities and Nespresso machines in each unit. Lovely pool and plenty loungers to relax after a day of sightseeing. Ample parking and a very friendly and accommodating host.

A stunning accommodation with views of mountains that are quite breathtaking. We had a warm welcome from Melani the owner who gave us really helpful information. Without doubt the best accommodation we have stayed in at Swellendam. We have already booked for next year.

Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Lovely big bathroom with walk-in shower and bath. Picturesque view of the mountains from the large Patel doors. Although breakfast not served facilities in room, although 5 minute walk in to town there are plenty of cafes serving breakfast.

I have nothing but good things to say! The location, our host, the property and its surroundings, our room and amenities, the view and of course the dogs - everything was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Such a lovely place !!
