Excellent boutique hotel with thoughtful room amenities and hotel facilities.  Friendly concierge and room service staff. Location is relatively central and is serviced by metro (~700m) and buses. Clean and well maintained.  I would recommend others to stay here when visiting Shenyang.

Pros: Clean, amenities, free breakfast was good Cons: -We put up the Do Not Disturb sign (and tripled checked it) because we had done laundry, and the room was disorganized and had personal items hang drying. They came and cleaned our room and removed the sign. -We had a packaged delivered to the hotel and showed them the tracking info on the Chinese receipt. They brought us the wrong package and then tried to tell us ours was delivered to the wrong hotel. Another guest helped translate and then they called the number on the tracking receipt. The receipt had the name of the employee at their hotel that signed for the package, which we tried to point out. After the phone call. They went and brought out my package. It had the tracking number clearly displayed so I'm really not sure why they couldn't originally find it. -we checked out and were waiting in the lobby until we could go to the airport. My partner asked if there was a bathroom she could use. They told us they dont have a public bathroom and wouldn't let her go up to the floor with the bathrooms...after we just spent a lot of money at their hotel. It was pretty shocking after staying at many hotels much more friendly. -the location wasn't terrible but there were no sidewalks and lots of barriers up so it was hard to get our luggage to the hotel. Overall, we would not stay at this hotel again.

I recently stayed at the Yicheng Hotel (Shenyang North Railway Station Subway Station Branch) and was thoroughly impressed. The location is unbeatable—it’s right in front of Shenyang North Railway Station and just steps away from the subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Whether you’re arriving by train or exploring Shenyang, the hotel’s prime location ensures a stress-free stay. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with a spacious and luxurious reception area that sets the tone for the rest of the property. The room was equally impressive, featuring a sleek and contemporary design with cozy furnishings. I particularly loved the voice-activated controls for the lights, curtains, AC, and TV—it added a touch of innovation and convenience that made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight. The spread was extensive, offering a mix of European and Chinese options, all fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day, whether I was heading out for meetings or exploring the city. Overall, the Yicheng Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Shenyang. Its convenient location, modern amenities, and excellent service make it a standout option. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

This is one of the best value-for-money hotels I’ve stayed at in China. If you don’t mind slightly aged furniture, this is a great choice and definitely worth considering. What I liked: • The location is very good, with many shopping malls nearby, including Walmart. • Despite the affordable price, the hotel still provides standard concierge services such as luggage delivery and welcome fruits, which was a nice touch. • The overall service level exceeded expectations for the price point. Tips: • If your booking does not include breakfast, you may want to check with the front desk — you might be in for a pleasant surprise. • For metro access, I preferred using Taiyuanjie Station instead of Shenyang Station, as it felt more convenient. Overall, a great budget-friendly option with good service and an excellent location.

We had a wonderful stay recently. The reception staff was very helpful and even took the trouble to use her phone to check the direction to Xita from the hotel. She even led us for part of the way to ensure that we got the direction right. We booked a 2 bedroom but was given only 2 breakfast and the staff was kind to add on free breakfast for all 4 of us. We really appreciated the kind gesture. Staff at the breakfast place was also friendly and helpful. The apartment had a washing machine which was the main reason why we booked it and it really came in handy. Washing powder was also provided. However, the dryer function could be improved as it took a long time for the clothes to dry since the machine is a 2 in 1.

Location excellence. Near Subway Line 1 exit. Many Malls and eateries. Famous LaoBian Dumplings 5 mins walk. Room dated but big. On high floors can view Shenyang skyline. Breakfast acceptable. Overall an comfortable stay.
