PPassporttoPalateThis was my second stay at this hostel and it's still amazing. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Europe. It is well located - right off the Mayor Plaza. Close to bus routes and not too far from the subway.
The hostel staff are super friendly and always available - 24hr front desk. They are hapy to have a chat with you and make recommendations and give advice - or just sing along to whatever is playing from the bar. They weresuper gracious and helped to arrange my friends and I in the same room - even though we all had individual bookings.
The rooftop is excellent. We spent several siesta's up there; reading and chatting and having a drink. Just note that the rooftop bar is a public space and at times sections of it are booked for events. But otherwise the view of the rooftops and the church dome are worth it.
The rooms are spacious enough, as is the private bathroom. There are additional bathrooms on each floor - gendered. The bunk ladders are a little steep on the steps - my shorter friend struggled getting up to her bunk - we had to use the foot stool to assist. But the ability to have two people using the bathroom in the room at a time made for easy use - especially with only 6 people in our dorm.
The free margarita making each night from 9pm and the bar crawl are worth checking out. My friend also also did the walking tour - and said she found it super informative and. chill. Lots of food recommendations and the group all grabbed lunch together after the tour.

TTamuThe front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a quiet room but I was on the ground floor so I could could hear the neighbors next door and above my head, but by midnight they were quiet. Idid not eat the food so I cannot comment. Convenient for one night and the 001 bus to Atocha very close.

FFanYangA Pleasant Stay with Warm Hospitality
It’s always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although it's a budget hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight the young lady who assisted me during check-in—she was so kind and welcoming. She provided me with all the necessary information about breakfast locations, nearby laundry services, and more. That was very helpful and much appreciated.
The hotel's location is also very strategic. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it’s close to both the bus and train stations. The room itself was simple but clean. Everyone at the hotel is polite and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
If I could suggest a few areas for improvement, they would be:
1. Provide a kettle in the room – Hot water for drinking is important for me, and having a kettle would be very convenient.
2. Install proper blackout curtains – This would help guests sleep better by blocking out excess light.
3. Offer laundry services – Having an in-house laundry option would be useful, especially for longer stays.
Other than these suggestions, everything else was perfect. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate the warm hospitality shown by all the staff. Thank you!

TTamuThe room was impecable. Though I would like to have a little rack on the shower to place my shampoo and conditioner bottles. The bed was comfortable but I wish they had individual pillows instead of just one long noodle-like pillow. The window blinds were extremely hard to scroll up. Regarding the automatic check-in, I had to call the hostel number for them to give me the reservation number which I did not know. It took me a while to complete the check-in. They should also let the visitors know that they have to walk upstairs so light luggage is recommended here.

TTamuLugar bien ubicado, buena habitación, en condiciones el lugar es muy bueno, lo negativo es la atención del personal, pasamos días antes de llegar tratando de comunicarnos con el alojamiento y no respondieron hasta el día de nuestra llegada, se le consultó si podíamos dejar las maletas hasta la hora de entrada y nos respondieron que no había problema y no fue así, al llegar nos respondieron por intercomunicador y de mala manera que hasta la hora de entrada no se recibían, que no había nadie para atender y cerraron la comunicación así sin mas. A la hora de entrada llegamos al hostal y tuvimos que esperar mas porque no había nadie allí. En resumen es un buen lugar con mala atención.
