Just returned from 4 nights in Sorrento - surprised by this 3 star hotel in Sorrento. We booked independently as the hotel was recommended and is close to the centre of town. Large, clean, modern room, air con, with large new bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was sufficient - meats, cheese, pastries/breads plus bacon and scrambled eggs. Small pool with sun lounges and tables. Staff here are very welcoming and really put in the extra effort. Will definitely return.

Great little find in the middle of Sorrento. Rooms are good, clean. Bathroom shower is great and a lovely little balcony looking over the bay. Clean towels every day if you required them. Maids cleaned the room every day and made the beds. Breakfast was just right for us, muesli yoghurt, hot croissants, bacon etc. Plenty of things for you to try. Dinning room was a bit old fashioned but you were only having your breakfast. Giuseppe the waiter was lovely and friendly. The pool are is small but enough sunbeds for everybody, pool is cold but on a hot day you need it to cool down. Loved the secret exit to the main street, my Husband did fall for the Grand Beer i.e. the boot of beer , it was his fault her never reads reviews after that it was girly beers. We had a great time, Michael is a really nice and helpful, all the staff were nice and loved the cat Blue. If you want 5 stars pay for it, but don't complain about this hotel as it does say 3 stars but the service was 5 stars We will be back,

Excellent value and perfect location. Only minutes from the centre of town but very peaceful. Our room had a view over the bay to Vesuvius. The room was basic (we went a bought a kettle!) but spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a decent size and very well kitted out. Beds were comfortable and fresh. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with a good choice of pastries and properly made scrambled eggs. No dinner available but given the proximity to the the town centre and its huge choice of places to eat this wasn't an issue. The staff were universally friendly and helpful and to top it all off there was Blue, the lovely little hotel cat.

This could have been a perfect score but for one issue which I'll come to. First, the positives. Visiting Sorrento in late April, early May (after Easter) is the perfect time before the roads get blocked. Taxis are expensive so you need a hotel near the centre with easy access to train and bus. The Eden scores big time. The back door leads onto the main street, yet rooms face the garden with views on the upper floors over the bay of Naples. It's amazingly quiet for a town hotel. Rooms are small but modern, and the hotel is very clean throughout. Continental breakfast is OK and small pool area is nice. Staff are attentive. Price for all this was very good. So I would strongly recommend it. However, in our case the shower tray was cracked and the leaking water left a sour smell to the room we slept with the bathroom door closed and balcony doors open. The hotel denied there was a smell and Jet2 rep said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about! IT WAS! Only other faults are the lack of plugs in handy places and paying extra for the safe. So Hotel Eden fix your shower trays, it's a gem of a Hotel.

A nice straight forward hotel, well located for central Sorrento, clean rooms & receptive staff. Reasonable pool, breakfast fair. Be careful of the bar waiter service in the evening, a 'medium' larger will be the best part of 1 litre in size...so best go to the bar when ordering. Previous reviewers have commented on building works in an adjacent hotel but that has now finished and they are getting ready to open, so discount that concern.

We stayed here from 27th July-6th August and it was simply amazing. The staff are attentive, kind and helpful. Michael allowed my family to pick fresh vegetables from his garden and cooked us a beautiful meal in his home. The rooms are cleaned everyday, with fresh sheets and towels to come home to after being out during the day. The pool area is clean with an appropriate pool size. The breakfast is lovely, and always guaranteed, and Angelo is always around the hotel, offering friendly conversation and drinks when necessary. It is clear that there is great care and love for this establishment, and the staff all work extremely hard to ensure its at its highest standards. If this is not convincing enough, the hotel is located extremely close to the main square, and you do not have to walk more than 5 minutes to find a decent restaurant or bar to eat/drink in.

Hotel Eden. Clean and tidy rooms. The view from our room across the gulf of Naples and Vesuvius was fantastic. Breakfast had a good choice. And all the staff we spoke to were very polite and friendly. As for location you I don’t think we could have done any better. Restaurants and bars were a 10 minute walk away as was the train station. Overall I would definitely recommend Hotel Eden to anyone looking for a good base to explore this lovely area of Italy.

Extremely dissappointing stay. Only positive was it's location (close to Piazza Tasso and Train station). Weren't informed that adjacent hotel was being renovated/parts demolished so constant noise throughout the day. Cleanliness needs attention. Hotel has stale odour. Never once saw anyone using a mop to clean! Worst coffee I've ever had in Sorrento (stayed in numerous hotels over 40 years). Restaurant and bar are dated. Clear plastic table covers used over tablecloths!.Had to eat outside due to staleattention
