Great room, clean and comfortable. Nice location and top service. Very nice Old building well equipped. The location is nice, next to the cathedral in the lovely old town. Bar is friendly. Terrasse in front of the cathedral. Good food at the restaurant.

A very nice hotel, perfect location, next to the cathedral, romantic and historical place as well! The rooms are comfortable, offering l'Occitane amenities, walk in shower, and quiet. The restaurant listed at "Gault et Millau" is offering a refined cuisine highlighting local products, the wine list is also selecting local wines, prices are quite high as far as the wine list is concerned. The teams are sincerely helpful, smiling, reacting to each requests promptly. We will come back!

This is a wonderful hotel in Solothurn. We chose it because of it's location on a cobblestone street in old town, taking us back hundreds of years. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious (by European standards). The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Overall we were very happy with the hotel but did struggle with the 5 star cost. For the money we paid I thought there were a few missing factors:- No AC Little shelve space in bathroom & bedroom Small TV Sparse or bare décor. Sorry but a bit disappointed for the price. Note: I paid same in Neuchatel at the Beau Rivage! Different league.

When ever we are in Solothurn we stay here. It’s a charming and luxurious Hotel. I love the linen bed linen!!! Being an Interior Designer I appreciate the wonderful color scheme of the rooms. Subtle with a hint of colour. We can recommend the suite 306 with the rolltop bathtub or the corner room 407. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. We will add the hotel to our design and travel guide.

We stayed for a couple days over the easter holiday. We stayed in the Annex, not the main hotel. The annex is a bit farther away from the main public areas. The room was comfortable, and the window was facing the Munster. It was a fairly quiet room and very comfortable. The linens on the bed were comfortable and the shower excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful, both in the reception and the bar. Due to dinner arrangements, we did not take dinner nor breakfast at the hotel. We did however, go to the bar for a post-hike drink. There is a parking garage in the annex, but we parked our car at the Baseltor garage. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is very conveniently located in Solothurn, and is our favourite now for our frequent short stays in the town. We will definitely stay in the hotel during our next stay.
