Dolina Charlotty Resort&Spa

We had a nice stay. The rooms are a bit gloomy with dark heavy furniture, but it is a very pretty building in the snow. There was no cold water in the bathroom, perhaps the cold water pipes are not insulated sufficiently from the heating or the hot water ones.

Beautiful place, pool and spa facilities topped up the pleasant environment. Bedrooms with lake views, a beautiful breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff. I will definitely go back and explore more of Poland. The restaurant offers a great menu, and you could easily stay there for a few days without leaving the hotel. Thank you!

Let me start with the general statement - this is a family hotel. So if you are allergic to kids, this is not your destination. On the location of the resort - it's in the middle of nowhere, which actually is not bad - fresh air, no traffic, pretty quiet surrounding. I really liked the forest behind the hotel - excellent for a nice long walk with a dog. Out room was small. I would expect bigger room in a resort type hotel allowing for comfortable stay for a week or so. Double bad wa also rather narrow. On the bright side - although the hotel is not new, everything in the room was working properly (haven't checked AC though). We have chosen HB option - food was OK in terms of selection and the quality. My partner was very happy with the various SPA treatments, so this is a plus. We haven't been neither to the PUB nor the swimming pool, so no opinion on these two. The hotel staff was very nice, and helpful. Overall impression - average place, I would say - 20-30% overpriced, bearing in mind quality of accommodation and food served in the restaurant.

Good points: 1) Scenic location with tranquility 2) Nice indoor pool area 3) Great activities and soft play areas for children 4) nice “rock bar” downstairs 5) plenty of free parking Negative points: 1) No air con in rooms made sleeping uncomfortable and the room generally quite stuffy to be in. 2) breakfast very basic and repetitive 3) outside the hotel the paths around the resort are poorly maintained and uneven. 4) overall the hotel now looks very worn and in need of an extensive refurbishment. 5) cost is expensive at £130 per night and isn’t worth that price compared to what can be offered elsewhere. 6) wifi automatically kicks you off after every 20 minutes and requires you to constantly keep manually logging back on. This makes it impossible to do any business work from the hotel.

It was a nice place. Great service and a nice personal that was very helpful. Could take our babygirl to the pool with no problems. Food at the restaurant was very good. We are planning that our next trip in northern Poland we will stay here again.

There is a bowling alley in the building. If the manager is throwing a little party (and some pins), you hear the rumble all night. Rooms are smelly. Doublebeds are 140cm wide and solid as a rock, so you better be small and tough. Windows are untight. All signs are in polish - no translations. The most lightbulbs in the "spa area" are broken. The staff is very polite but speaks barely english. You cant pay in euro. Food was good. Overall a nice family guesthouse but no hotel. No international standard. Of course no refunds.

We stayed for a week in summertime and I have to say that starting from family rooms, food, entertainment everything is done to make families happy. Kids have always some kind of entertainment (animations, swimming, zoo, jump park etc) . Great holiday place for families.

Peace and quiet, not only for the business trip. The stuff are very friendly and helpful. Recomended also for family holidays. Rooms - standard , bar - standard. Good and tasty food. Lake with small island.

Jestem niezwykle niezadowolony z pobytu w Hotelu Dolina Charlotty. Komunikacja między recepcją a Spa to totalna porażka. Pomimo moich żądań o fakturę, otrzymałem paragon, a faktura miała być wysłana mailem - co wciąż nie zostało zrealizowane. Zgłosiłem zagubienie zegarka w szlafroku zarówno w recepcji Spa, jak i na górze, jednak ciągle odsyłano mnie między recepcjami. Mimo dwóch dni przypominania się o zegarek, problem pozostaje nierozwiązany. Wydaje się, że wysłanie zegarka może okazać się dla nich zbyt trudne, zwłaszcza jeśli borykają się z wysłaniem faktury. Podczas wymeldowania pojawiły się również kłopoty z rozliczeniem. Osoba, która odebrała ode mnie klucze, była kompletnie niezorientowana. Musiałem dwukrotnie tłumaczyć, co do niej należy, a za trzecim razem dopiero zrozumiała. Niestety, zaproponowana przez nią wysłanie faktury również pozostała bez echa. Moja partnerka i ja wydaliśmy ponad 2000 zł na pobyt, wliczając zabiegi Spa i romantyczną kolację. Jednak atmosfera romantyzmu zginęła, gdyż na kolację trafiliśmy do stołówki, gdzie jedynym wskazaniem „romantycznej kolacji” było napisane słowo "REZERWACJA". Chociaż jedzenie było smaczne, brak dostępnych win zniweczył całą kolację. Zdecydowanie odradzam to miejsce. Chaos w personelu, brak informacji i zaniedbywanie obowiązków sprawiają, że nie mogę polecić tego hotelu. Dodatkowo, czystość pokoju, w którym przebywaliśmy, daleko odbiegała od standardów czterogwiazdkowego hotelu.
