Villa Dallavalle Inn

This is such a great little place, very “old-timey” for sure but the building is in great shape and well-maintained, my room was spotless and very comfortable. The WiFi is good and the water is hot (very hot!). The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. I would 100% stay here again, and longer next time.

Ok, let me tell you about this place… it is the coziest place you can imagine. The building is comforting and interesting. Its age acts as a time warp to an easier and more welcoming period. The owner - Nancy - might possibly be the nicest woman on the planet. She personally cooks for you, caters to you, and makes sure your stay is exactly what you expect. Staying at Villa Dallavalla is like staying with your best friend’s family. There isn’t anything corporate about it, and that is SO refreshing! The beds are comfortable, the hot tubs are great, the sauna is fantastic, and the hospitality is absolutely unmatched. Do not pass up on this true gem!!

This bed and breakfast is so cute and Wendi the hostess was wonderful. She immediately made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was amazing. It is an older place and the room was small but my husband and i thought it was so cute. They have 3 hot tubs and a sauna. Robes and flip flops were provided along with towels to use for getting out of the hot tub. I would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Dallavalle! Wendy and Nancy were such kind and gracious hosts. They made us delicious homemade breakfast in the morning before our ski days, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel is steeped in history and absolutely adorable, with lots of historic artifacts, photos, and books - we had fun reading Gerald Swanson's history of Silverton! The three hot tubs and sauna were delightful after a long day of skiing. They were easy to access with robes and slippers provided, and the sauna looked brand new! Our room was perfectly silent and well-equipped. The rooms are small but cozy, and you really feel like you're stepping back in time. You can walk easily to any place in town, and we enjoyed the Eureka We hope to return soon and would recommend this place for anyone who wants to experience a taste of history in a homey, welcoming environment.

We loved our weekend at Villa Dallavalle! The incredible service from Wendy and Nancy was stellar. Cozy sheets and a yummy breakfast are served daily in a sweet family style setting. Coffee just outside our door in the morning was also perfect. We were there for ski joring and the views of Blair Street and the action could not be better. Thank for a special weekend ! I came out to Silverton to ski at Silverton Mountain. I was looking for housing and picked Villa Dallavalle. I was happy I did. It filled my needs perfectly. The owners Nancy and Wendy were so kind to me. It looked like the pass was going to be closed to get into Silverton so they offered up alternate housing near Durango. I didn’t need to use it, but their personal attention meant so much to me. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast family style and it got us ready for the ski day ahead. I ended up staying over Super Bowl weekend and they invited me to watch the game with their family. It was delightful staying here.

This was our first time staying at the Villa Dallavalle, but not our first long trip to Silverton. We followed Betty & Albert to the Villa simply because they are friends and treat us (and all of their other guests) as family. We didn't know what we were getting in facilities, but we knew the kind of service we were going to get. The vibe at the place was great. Rooms were big enough. My only complaint was that our mattress could have been better, but it wouldn't stop me from staying at the Villa or in that room again. The whole facility was immaculately clean and the yard - even as a "work in progress" as Albert puts it - was great. Two fire pits - one propand and one wood - are available for sitting around outside. There is a big propane grill and an outdoor kitchen area that guests can use. Then there are the three hot tubs and the brand new cedar lined sauna. What more could you ask? Breakfasts... Just wake up hungry and prepare to be indulged. Every morning brought a different 5-star quality meal. We had a really early morning one day and Albert went out of his way to fix us up a sack breakfast that day. It was every bit as good as the meals at the B&B. Thanks buddy. You are the best. We travelled with friends that stayed at another B&B in town, and Albert and Betty invited them over to use the Villa's grill and yard to cook our dinner meals. We took them up on that a couple of times the week we were there. We also met quite a few other Villa guests around the fire pits and had a great evening with them. If you are looking for a place to stay in Silverton you cannot go wrong with Villa Dallavalle. You just can't have our room next September. We are already booked :)

This historic inn was wonderful. The innkeepers are friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the place was very quiet all night and morning. Breakfast was beyond our expectations ! We were sorry to have only 1 night here. The innkeepers allowed us to drop our stuff off upon arrival at noon, and leave everything in the lobby until we left late afternoon the next day. We used the hot tub and sauna (both very clean, relaxing and looked new!), and enjoyed sitting outside in the gorgeous weather while our train back to Durango was delayed.

We had such an awesome stay at the Inn! Wendy, Betty, and Albert were all amazing hosts, and are some of the most kind and friendly people we have ever stayed with. They even made special treats for our dog in the morning. The spa is great, especially the hot tub and sauna. We stayed in room 1, which was a corner room with a beautiful view of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we are definitely planning on staying here again!
