Melissa Garden Apart Hotel

Well what can I say have never been made feel so welcome on a holiday as we did at the Melissa Garden. One of our best holidays so far and we are look forward to returning next year. All the staff were amazing and nothing was ever to much hassle for them. From Yas, Kadir, Rambo, Mustafa, Sunshine, Alfie and many more their service was outstanding. We stayed in a 1 bedroom self catering apar**ent which was comfortable, spacious and clean. The maids do a great job. Can not recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning.

Had a fantastic time at Melissa Gardens. I had a 2 bedroom apar**ent it was so big. The staff were lovely. My friend was in a different hotel to me but made sure she got took home at night. The food was great. The drinks were not expensive. Entertainment was good on a night. They have 2 pools one with swim slide so a bit of noise or the quite pool the staff came round and asked what you would like to drink. Altogether they was 10 ladies I met. We are all going back next year.

Pros: Large rooms with 2 verandas(or one corner veranda) Free WiFi is sporadic, but it is sometimes available around the reception and pool area. Good food portions in restaurant. Evening entertainment: Includes Bingo, quiz, karaoke, and belly dance. Cocktails 2-for-1 happy hour; however, the cocktails are cheaper outside the complex. Complimentary sun beds, shared with other hotels, within walking distance You can pay an extra £20 for a late checkout. Good location. Cons: Basic sp**** rooms: Lounge only contains a couch. Kitchen contains minimum self-catering utensils. If you want a microwave or toaster, you need to rent these. Carving knife didn't cut. Only 2 teaspoons. As is often the case, you need to pay extra if you want to use the room's safe. Doors were closed by slamming them, which woke others up in the early hours. All rooms are smoking, so you can smell smoke on the beds when you arrive. Staff smoked in the restaurant and reception - The complex was accessed by a ginnel that led past reception, so you would smell of smoke as if you had walked through smokers standing outside pub doorways. No staff attended the bar at the 2nd pool. Though you can leave your suitcases in reception, it is often un-manned. Other: We had a few problems (fridge with broken innards and freezer full of ice, leaking sink, etc.), but these were sorted relatively quickly once reported. There seemed to be some uncomfortable half-boarders who expected a full English breakfast - Melissa Garden's restaurant charged them 5 euros for a rasher of bacon. There were no plugs in the sink. We questioned this and were told that wasting water wasn't a concern in Atlanya. We used a pan as a sink. The Tripadvisor review from the hotel state that amenities include boating (it doesn't), cable TV (is rented at an additional cost), a coffee/tea maker... is a kettle Would I stay there again? Though we had a pleasant experience, the cigarette smoke in the restaurant and reception really got to our throats. Mainly for this reason, we wouldn't stay here again.

Having travelled the world over and never written a review before I feel compelled to write this. This is the worse place I have ever stayed. The rooms were fine and cleaners were great unlike rest of staff. We were staying across road from main pool /restaurant area. The pool bar was not open so we were getting drinks and snacks from our rooms as closer but were told we couldn't do this and had to buy from them which meant going across rd. The bar on site is really expensive and I know that you always pay more in hotel for drinks but not 3 times more. Please pay for whatever you have from bar at time you get it as hotel is well known in area for adding things onto your bill. If you try to question your bill staff are very rude and obnoxious especially Alfie, I witnessed him swearing at guests, a great ambassador for the hotel. Hotel sent us to a water park that wasn't open. Sent us to a restaurant run by an ex member of staff that was terrible. Please stay away from this hotel.

I have travelled around the world been everywhere never wrote a review in my life but this is the worst hotel I have ever visited in my life the staff are all preds trying to chat up little girls age 13 and under they have been fighting with kids no older than 15 fully grown men they rob u blind adding things onto the bills that u didn't even buy they turned the water slide off at about half past 4 I asked them why they have turned it off on the kids he told me to shut the f**ckup his name is ALFIE glasses the most rude staff I have ever experienced in my life just outside the hotel in Bush is big kn*fe we told the staff and all they done was pick it up and stuck it back into the ground (pic included) DO NOT BOOK ONTO THIS HOTEL U WILL REGRET IT .

Fantastic hotel great staff fabulous food an a lovely warm a**osphere from the start Alfie an all the staff really make you feel at home an nothings ever to much trouble .rooms are fine comfy beds great pillows an cleaned every day pool area great in both pools .Dennis the owners son is lovely an Tom an kado are the staff clowns but lovely had an absolute fabulous holiday will definitely go back thanks to everyone who made our holiday xxx

Me and my kids came here and we love this place brilliant staff always on the go never stopped for a break bless them all we will be definitely coming back here in September we look forward to seeing U all again then take care of yourselves and see U soon xxx

had a family holiday at melissa gardens june 23 and kids and adults had a ball, Staff went above and beyond to be very helpful, Looking forward to going back again this year. Rooms were always clean and spacoius. So look out Shein,jazz,allfie,rambo, jimmy jazz is coming

Do not go, it is nothing like the pictures. Worst hotel we have been to in Turkey, it was dirty and was ran poorly by a few young Turkish men. It’s a bus ride away from the centre of Side too. Many other guests were complaining about the smell due the toilet blocked next to the pool. Stay away.
