It's a very good hotel and this is my second time staying. Overall a very good experience.

Perfect if I have chance to come back Chennai I will always stay here

The hotel was great with amenities. Breakfast was good. The staff were great and very helpful. The rooms are spacious enough but the bathroom was a bit cramped. Not enough space to even move around.

Having in Prime location and Taj experience was awesome & quick service for all requests and they had a wide range of buffet breakfast

Thank you Ruth Manager Rashmi for helping and taking care of our group throughout the whole process. The check in was hectic, as the front office staff seems less experienced, but as Rashmi came into the picture, things get much better and we gotten the rooms we need alhought we only mentioned we prefer a non-road facing room upon check in. Moreover, thank you for the gesture extended for us to share our group breakfast to a very beloved family friends of ours with Rashmi helping to do the arrangement. She is definitely amazing and extremely helpful and attentive. Like a butler to our group, we are blessed to have her serving us throughout our stay. Will make a trip to Chennai and visit vivanta again if given a chance. Superb

It was a wonderful and pleasant stay at Vivanta Chennai. The front desk team of Mr. Anchit, Ms. Roshni and the duty manager Mr Rohit were prompt, efficient and extremely helpful in changing my room and providing me the room with the garden side view. Trishna, Rahul, Priya, sneha, Chandan we very much happy for our birthday celebrate with Taj Hotel hotel the staff was doing very excellent service with a restaurant Buffet I am very much happy with short Hotel service I am really happy with the staff who was help with me for entire things very much thank you for the support and here after also I will come the same hotel I will refer my friend and my colleague my family friends also

The name has changed from Vivanta to gateway. the interiors and team are the same. the bed, linen and towel quality, food has been upgraded but everything else is same. Its under renovation, should be little better once that's upgraded to Vivanta standards. All wood in the room, white and brown, dull sort of rooms. No-one to serve tea coffee during breakfast, you only see them running around, not setting up tables for next guests, but I don't know running around for what. Room service water takes them multiple requests. Dinner took 55 minutes.
