Hotels in Dishui Lake and Lin-gang Area, Shanghai

The room size was excellent; as a suite, it allowed my dad and child to watch TV without disturbing each other. I was very pleased with the bathroom's wet/dry separation and the Toto fixtures. The bath towels were incredibly soft and clean, a real comfort. My absolute favorite feature was the washing machine and dryer! It's perfect for someone like me who dislikes dirty laundry piling up, and they even provided laundry pods – such a thoughtful touch! The reserved view was truly spectacular; we had a panoramic view of the fireworks and drone show over the Oceanarium and Dishui Lake! My only minor suggestion would be to add a makeup mirror in the bathroom.

The hotel is located right next to Yaoxue Ice and Snow World and Water World, just a short walk away. This makes it perfect for water activities, skiing, and other snow entertainment. Additionally, attractions like Dishui Lake, Haichang Ocean Park, and the Planetarium are nearby, making it ideal for multi-day stays. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, featuring modern decor with strong ski-themed elements. Before check-in, the staff proactively called to confirm preferences like room floor and parking arrangements, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent and very generous, even offering a dedicated dining area for athletes.

This hotel is very close to Dishui Lake and the subway station, making it an easy walk to the lakeside and a super convenient place for scenic strolls. The Yifu Li check-in spot is also nearby, making it a popular spot for photo opportunities. It's a great place to shop, eat, and check in all in one place. The hotel itself is also very thoughtful, with unique hallways and rooms, a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The front desk is friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze. It's an excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place next time I visit Dishui Lake!

We stayed one night with kids and had a great time! The hotel is brand new super clean and modern rooms. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The swimming pool was also great for the kids. Everyone was really friendly, and the manager, Elvis, made sure we were well taken care of. He even helped us with the water park tickets, which made things easy. Awesome service and perfect for a fun family getaway. Highly recommend

Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is relatively high, and you can try Haichang again. But from the parking lot to the lobby, there is indeed a smell of decoration... just as rumored. The layout of the front desk seemed stingy. When I checked out, the entire front desk was gone and decoration started again, haha. The shuttle schedule is okay, but it fills up easily. For breakfast at the Penguin Hotel opposite, you have to wait in line. There are not many kinds of food, and the service is okay. It was also good to be able to sit next to the penguins later. The children's playground is not bad. You get a big penguin for free when you check in, which is quite nice.

Every corner is meticulously maintained and furnished, clean and hygienic, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. This room is like a small library, filled with the fragrance of books. Whether reading, writing, resting, or relaxing, you can find your own space here.

My friend and I booked the hotel as we needed a place to stay before our Spartan Race near the lake. We were very impressed of the hotel and gave a homey atmosphere. Very very clean! Staff spoke English. The room had cooking area, fridge and washing machine. Since we had a race and finished after our original check out they allowed us to extend for longer period which was very helpful. Next time we need to book in the area, we will book there!

Must give full marks!!! Highly recommended, a family of four came to travel, the service staff was super nice when checking in, and they were responsive!!! Their twin beds are two 1.5-meter beds, and it's not crowded at all for four people to sleep. I like their bedding very much, it's very soft!!!

The room carpets was the dirtiest in all the 5 star hotel I have stayed so far. The CNY crowd made things worse, it was hard to get a table for dinner in the hotel and breakfast everyday was frantic. Both the Chinese and Korean restaurants are bad, they would close in 6 months if they are opened in the city. if i wasn't lazy i would have driven out for every meal. First night in the Korean bbq, we had long waits between food and some of the cooked bbq was cold when served. Third night we had Chinese, the stired fried vegetables had a strange sour taste for Chinese yam, at least the manager took it back and gave a 10% discount. Overall it's hard to lay back and relax here, I won't be coming back again, had much better experience at the other one nearby.

I have so many complaints – this is my first time writing a negative review for a hotel. For what's supposed to be a rather upscale establishment, many basic facilities and services were severely lacking, which was truly disappointing. Here are the specifics: 1. **No Mini-Fridge in the Room:** This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at where the room didn't have a mini-fridge, which is absolutely ridiculous. We had no place to store our own beverages. 2. **Lack of Service for Drinkware:** We wanted to have a drink in the evening. Upon check-in, the front desk told us to simply call for wine glasses. We called at 8 PM, only to be informed it was too late and they were closed. We were given 4 disposable plastic cups instead, which really dampened the experience. 3. **Incomplete Toiletries:** There was no conditioner among the toiletries provided. They couldn't even provide the most basic amenities. 4. **Self-Service for Takeout:** We had to pick up our own takeout. The reason given was that there was only one staff member on duty at night, and they didn't have the manpower to bring it up. This is clearly an issue with the hotel's staffing arrangements. It's 2025, perhaps consider robot delivery! The only positive thing I can say is that the front desk thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a better view for fireworks during check-in. However, this single positive doesn't make up for the numerous drawbacks. I sincerely hope the hotel can improve in the areas mentioned above.
