Ulasan Dongdaemun Hwashin Hostel

Great hostel right in a central area of Seoul, close to the Metro and to many convenience stores and markets. We loved our small double room, it had all we needed for 2 nights: heating, hot water, wood, small towels. The hostel is very quiet at night, we could sleep really well. The receptionist is friendly, helpful and speaks English really well. They also held our bags for few hours after the checkout. We wanted to rebook here but it’s fully booked. We will strongly recommend it.

Me and my partner stayed there for a few days and it was perfect for us since we didn't plan on staying in the actual room the whole time. Very close to the subway and other bus options, like the airport bus. Although it is about 1hr and 30min transit from the airport. I recommend this place to people who like to explore.

It is suitable and nice to who travel sololy with fair price. Clear explanation and nice staff! I must give a praise to the strong air con in summer! Room is spacious for one person, one biggest drawback is there were few bugs(3-4) inside the room, but acceptable, understand there will be some insects in summer. Overall, recommend this to solo traveler due to its price and cleanliness!

Location is quite good. Near subway station & airport bus. Hostel provided towel but is very small. Overall is value of the money

Hwashin hostel administration, thank you so much for the warm welcome and always positive treatment 💗 sorry didn't manage to say goodbye in person.. I was staying for 4 days (25-29/08/2024). Everything was clean, tidy. The bathroom had a curtain, and also soap, shampoo and stuff. The drinking water was provided, the ac worked well and there was an opportunity to open the window 💗 It has great location, it's super close to Dondaemun history and culture park, getting almost everywhere is convenient and there's a lot to see nearby as well:) The only inconvenience I had was bringing my luggage down the stairs when checking out but that's okay anyway) Thank you so so much for such welcoming atmosphere and help❤️ i have already recommended this hostel to my friends and i do recommend it to everybody visiting:)

The location was near to airport limousine bus pick up, nearby to many subway stations and plus point there is GS25 in the corner. Good good location and had a pleasant stay!

Receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The place is clean. 5 minutes walk to mrt station and 7-11. There are some restaurants around the hotel area.

The boss is really nice, but the facilities are relatively simple and the stairs are a bit high. However, the boss will help with the luggage, which is a very good experience. It is just next to the intersection of Exit 7 of Line 5 Metro. Thank you, boss🙏

I stayed in the coldest month of February, but the moment I entered the room it was warm, and there was a heater so I was able to stay comfortably. The owner explained everything to me when I checked in, but he was very kind and I was able to stay with peace of mind. When I checked out, I had two large pieces of luggage, but the owner carried them from the second floor to the first floor without me having to ask, which was very helpful. Line 5 is nearby, so it was convenient when heading to Gimpo Airport. The walls are thin, so I don't recommend this hotel for people who want to have fun with friends or watch TV at a loud volume inside the room. (The owner also explains about noise levels.) I go to Korea several times a year, so I would like to use this hotel again when I stay in Dongdaemun. I would also like to recommend this hotel to friends who are traveling alone to Dongdaemun.

I was very impressed when I stayed there. My friend and I each had 2 bags, 1 large bag and 1 carry-on bag. The uncle said that the room was small. If we didn't use any bags, we could leave them there. The uncle helped us and our friends carry our bags. He was very nice. 1. The width of the room. Personally, I can open my bags normally, 25 inches, 20 inches, 29 inches, and 20 inches. There is enough space. Compared to the room in Hong Kong, this one is much wider. 2. The bathroom is also spacious. There is a comfortable shower area. The hot water is very hot. Complete toiletries, except for toothpaste and toothbrushes. There is a hair dryer. 3. I brought a converter but it didn't work, so I borrowed it from the uncle. 4. There are free hot packs, extra towels and tissues, drinking water to refill, and umbrellas to borrow. When we went, it was snowing. We took the umbrella out to use all day. I was very impressed with the uncle. When he saw my friend and I taking pictures of the snow in front of the hotel, he came out and said he would help take a picture of us together. My friend bought a lot of things, a big bag. When the uncle saw him, he helped carry it up for us. On the day of check-out, when we opened the door and came out, The uncle also helped carry the bags down for me. He was very cute. I was very impressed. Next time I go to Korea, I will definitely stay here again.

There is a shopping district nearby, which is very convenient. The room can open a 28-inch luggage for one person, which is ok
