We stayed 5 nights and satisfied with room amenities especially the washing machine, do remember to bring your own detergent. Please note the hotel does not provide free luggage storage so be prepared to pay for self luggage service at the basement if your departure is late afternoon or night. We love the balcony as it looks out to the Sungnyemun Gate. Location is opposite Namdaemun market which has good food options.

Good location, not too far from myeongdong night market and in between cityhall and Euljiro 1 subway stations. There is an Airport limousine bus stop just a few steps away from the hotel entrance, making it easier to head to the airport without worrying about having too many baggage. Namdaemun market is just across the road too.

The Stay Classic Hotel Myeongdong 27 Namdaemun-ro, Jung District, Seoul, South Korea Convenient location is the only plus for this property. You can stay here if you can ignore the counter staff's bad vibes. They are consistent in their unfriendly and unhelpful manner. The narrow lobby reeks of super strong artiticial chemical fragrance which smells so bad and triggers an instant migraine. I need to hold my nose every time. One of the cleaning staff also cut corners when they know you are staying longer (two separate bookings of more than one week). Shouldn't it be the opposite? Very mixed feelings about this place as they don't exude the Korean hospitality and warm vibes received at other properties. There is no goodwill or compassion. Everything is mercenary. And the entire shower and toilet gets wet and the basin stinks of sewage smell.

The junior double suite was just perfect for 2 people. Having so much space to open your luggage and pack is a plus not many hotels in South Korea offers. Cons: The bed was not the best, and mine was creaking. Taking the airport Limo bus 6015 stops opposite the hotel, but there’s no escalator or elevator to go down and up through the underpass. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful stay! A lot mentioned about the scent at the reception. I have to agree it smelled so good and kept us wondering.

Perfect location, nearby to Namdaemun Market! There is a washer and styler in the room, which is very convenient.

Room are small but very clean with daily housekeeping provided, hotel located just 1 min walk to airport limousine bus stop which very convenient for us who shop and buy a lot.

Spacious room. All is good but the shower for heater is not consistent. Full size fridge. Washing machine available to use. Detergent need to buy from frontdesk.

The mattress is too hard for comfort & cannot get sound sleep. This hotel is strictly non smoking even at the balcony area. Service staff not so friendly except for Ms Yuri Kim. She is super friendly and always accord us with good service & a friendly smile. She made our stay more bearable. By the way, there is no tables or rest area at the reception. Strictly for checking in & out.

I will definitely come back and stay in this hotel again. Although there is not enough space for all our luggages, I am grateful and happy to have the ameneties i need for this trip. The washing machine and dryer were life saver. Toilet bidet was a plus. Bathroom was very small but i didnt mind cause it was clean. Bus stop is right in from of the hotel. Thanks to all the staff. Shout out to Ms. Yuri Kim who helped us all the way and booked for us a cab to seoul metro station.

Great place and room was spacious with massive balcony. Washing machine ansld styler was useful. Gym was basic but has everything. Vending machine below sells all the charger and little things you need.

Not acceptable to have a hotel that does not help to safekeep luggages for free. Paying guests are expected to pay 30k won for 4 hours of locker usage.

First, price was unbeatable. Second, airport limousone bus stopped right in front of it. Just need to cross the road. Third, near namdaemun, myeongdong, and all! Fourth, there was a washing machine in the room, and styler for me to sanitize our clothes. Fifth, theres a dryer machine and steamer iron at B1, so very very convenient. Sixth, near to train station, and bus stops, so we can go anywhere almost seamlessly. Mr Han the manager and Yuri was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back to the hotel if we visit Seoul again.

Good location, clean room, like a service apartment. Only downside is the paid luggage storage after check out.

The hotel is so clean and modern. good location, there's a cafe, bus stop and airport limousine stop right next to the hotel. friendly, helpful and polite staff. BUT.. i chose the hotel specifically because they showed in the pictures that they have a stove. but actually they covered it with information list. when i talked to them they said we didn't write that we have a stove🙃. so if you want a stove this hotel is not for you.
