We booked a long weekend to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. We love Savannah and the historic atmosphere of Planters Inn. The staff communicated in advance of our arrival and we were fortunate to arrive to have our room ready early. We enjoyed the pianist’s talent when we came back from exploring all day. Each day we spoke to the Valet and other staff who were kind and polite. We’re very grateful for a great stay!

The rooms are small, bed was creaky, air conditioning was loud and worst of all, the room had a plasticky odor which was strong and unpleasant.
The hotel is in an excellent location for access to the city and seeing the sites.

My rating reflects my expectations as there are limited amenities but that was clear on the front-end. The property is in the heart of Historic Savannah and the charm oozes. It's very well maintained aside from a few blemishes here and there you would expect from an early 1900's property. THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING - VERY ATTENTIVE!

The location is great, the staff were friendly, valet parking convenient. There were some fairly significant shortcomings: the toilet didn't flush properly. Had to pour water and then flush. The bed was said to be a queen but was really a double. There was a smell in the room that was unidentifiable. Overall, the room needed some attention.

Clean and comfortable, great location, friendly staff. No bar, restaurant, or lobby entertainment, so we enjoyed peace and quiet after enjoying Savannah's lively day and evening activities.

Nice place. Lovely staff but waited hours for our room when others checked in after and received entry. Like the in-room antiques but Queen size bed is tight for a couple. Bathroom out of date. TV in room in very awkward location bcs of cable connection. Room only serviced once in a week stay, more only if requested. Bit of noisy spot. Lights from parking garage and echoing sound all night but location is excellent for walking to restaurants and historic sites.
