The staff was not friendly. No welcome, no smiles no English: I will not stay there. Smells badly as well. The room itself was ok close to the beach. There are many better hotels and hostels. We used it only for a few hours to swim in Houhai and go back to our hotel in Yalong Bay. Next time we cam for swimming we stayed at another hostel.

The location of this hotel is incredible. Literally on the beach. The hotel however, is full of massive boxes and workmen who are presumably finishing off the hotel and building a bar downstairs.
I had arranged for trip.com to upgrade my room as I had this option, however it hadn't been finalised properly with the hotel so we got to stay in two different rooms during the stay as the hotel could only accommodate this on one night.
Both sea view rooms had a great view but have so many different switches and buttons it's hard to work out if you're opening the loud motorised window or turning on the light in the loo.
The only difference was that there was a bath in one room, but the room has such big windows, you can't really use it privately and enjoy the view.
Staff were friendly and helpful but we overheard they were overbooked so beware.
Not accessible by taxi so make sure you call ahead and a golf buggy with collect you.

Amazing experience, staff were ready to help with any issues. Quiet room with great views, good facilities also. Little minibar in room which was free and can keep your drinks and food cold. Overall really impressed

Took 4~5 hours to check in, and couldn't get in my room as it was properly cleaned and ready at arrival. The hotel's first floor is in renovation a mess, it might be better to skip this place until its fixed mid June
