Astra Suites

My daughter and I returned to Astra Suites in Santorini after visiting 11 years ago. We still think Astra Suites has the best view of any place we've stayed in our decade of traveling together. Also, the service was impeccable, with room service twice a day, including an evening turn-down of the bed. In addition, a delicious breakfast was served on our wonderful balcony every morning. The staff was invariably friendly and helpful.

What a lovely resort! Spectacular views, warm hospitality and excellent service. We had dinner the first evening we arrived in Greece and it was one of our best meals. Our host greeted us and helped facilitate all of our tours. The stairs were a bit daunting, but helped us work off all the great food!

Great accomodations, great staff and a totally understanding of the meaning of Hospitality. The rooms were magnificent the restaurant food excellent and the overall experience the best. I’ve visited other hotels in the Greek island and must say that Astra was amazing in all areas. I will definitely rebook in the event we decide to visit Santorini in the future.

This was located in finikia. Away from all the fuss and traffic of Oia. It's about a 20 minute walk to Oia. You won't find parking in Oia. Small dirt parking lot across the street. Big enough for family of 4, 2 bathrooms with showers. Great views to relax at the end of the day.

We had a fantastic time. The staff were incredible, we were so sad when we had to leave! The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking. Great location as it's walking distance down to Fira or a hike/short cab ride to Oia. We would stay at Astra again.

We stayed for our honeymoon! The staff was very friendly and made our trip extra special with a free room upgrade, fresh flowers, and champagne. We originally booked the superior jetted tub room and got upgraded to the suite with outdoor jetted tub, it was stunning with cave-like interior and a large private balcony. We had dinner reservations at the Five Senses and the meal and service was incredible! The view from our balcony was amazing. Such a special and romantic setting, we highly recommend!

There are truly no words to describe Astra Suites. We went three months ago and I still dream of this place. The hotel was like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. The staff at Astra is exceptional and go out of their way to making your stay nothing short of perfect. As soon as you arrive, your bags are delivered to your room, and while checking in you are met with the friendliest staff, who gave you information about the island and things to do. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and cleaned twice a day, to what appeared to be the highest of standards. The included breakfast was to die for and was such a treat to wake up to on the beautiful balcony. The pool bar was relaxing and Niko, the bartender, was the best bartender I’ve ever had. His drinks were art. Our wedding was a dream. The best part was it was stress free, as George handled every single aspect flawlessly. We chose our package, sent George the number of guests and ensured our paperwork was in order and the rest was handled. When we arrived George upgraded our room to a room with a large balcony, to allow for private space for the wedding. The room was right in front of the Skaros Rock and was beautiful to have in our backdrop. Everything was orchestrated to include our photographer, videographer and florist. My bouquet was the most beautiful set of roses I’ve ever seen. I wish we got that quality of flowers here in the US. We started our wedding morning with massages in the room. The masseuses were so professional and the massage was amazing and helped with the pre wedding jitters. The ceremony was perfect with the service both in Greek and English. Following the wedding, we had dinner at Five Senses which is on the property. Not only was the food out of this world, but so was the service. Each dish had a story and the waitress explained everything in great detail. We also had a member of our party who had an allergy and the staff ensured her meal was prepared accordingly. Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. Not one detail went unnoticed. We returned to the room later that night to candles lit, the entire room cleaned, and put back together after the chaos of girls getting ready. I’m so thankful we found Astra Suites not only for vacation but also for our wedding day. George and his team are the best in the business and I can’t wait to return to experience this type of accommodations again.

Simply wonderful from a to z. Where to start? Settled high up on the mountain this upscale boutique will not disappoint any of your desires. The staff is there to accommodate all your needs. We chose a room overlooking the caldera. We could not have been more pleased. Breakfast was served in our room and the food was delicious. We ate at "Five Senses" and loved the food and the view. Would definitely come back. Thank you George for the bottle of champagne and dessert. It was a nice touch to end our last night. We already miss this magical place.

Its hard to describe just how incredible this place is but I will try (-: The views from the hotel and rooms are truly breathtaking....my jaw dropped when we arrived....they are just unbelievable. Then we were greeted with the warmest welcome at reception...to all the reception staff (Evelyn, Orea and I'm so sorry I can't remember the other girls name who took us to our room) they were all so kind with such amazing care for their guests. Then there is Nikos at the pool bar...not only does he make the most amazing cocktails but he is also a true gentleman....such a lovely guy and nothing was too much trouble for him....he took such great care of us. And did the guy who did our room service....so warm and kind....the staff here are just exceptional...they make you feel like family! Then there's the food! Having breakfast on your balcony with the amazing views is such a wonderful experience. The rooms are just beautiful. If you want a truly beautiful and magical stay in Santorini then this is the place!
