Majestic Hotel is ideally situated in the iconic Byzantine village of Pirgos presenting scenic views of the Volcan of Santorini’s and the whole Island The houses of the resort are made with lots of caring and the white of them contrasting the Aegean blue We felt the Greek filoxenia (Hospitality)and we definitely we are coming back ! We have spent a week in this beautiful hotel. I can only say good things about it. The staff was so helpful and courteous they couldn’t do enough for you. The owner was fantastic and kindly upgraded us to a beautiful luxurious suite. I would very strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service, fantastic location, and historically-interesting hotel. We booked a canava suite, which is a bit too cave-like (i.e., dark with no windows). Would book another room. Hard-working staff who were at the ready to help with getting cabs and any other services. They really try to make the experience as enjoyable as possible. Pygros is a really great town that is filled with stores and tavernas at every turn, and not nearly as crowded as other areas. Recommend the Zannos.

The bedroom looked really good, and also the private hot tub. What let it down was the wifi was not working which i mentioned 3 rimes but nothing got done to resolve. Same forvthe tv and fridge. Breakfast qas slow and too relaxed

The room was fine. Lack of staff at the reception. Poor assistance. No room service. No maintenance service. Inconvenient access. I will not recommend it.

I am saddened to report that my experience at Zannos Melathron Hotel in Santorini was nothing short of a disaster. From a complete lack of cleanliness to false advertising on their website and unprofessional staff, this hotel fell far short of the expectations we had when booking our stay. In fact, the experience was so appalling that we had no choice but to leave within 20 minutes of arriving and find alternative accommodation. Upon arrival at Zannos Melathron, we were greeted with an unwelcoming atmosphere and unprofessional staff. There was no sense of hospitality or warmth, and to our disbelief, they failed to even check us in properly. This immediately set the tone for the level of service we could expect during our stay. The lack of cleanliness at the hotel was astonishing. Our room was in a deplorable state, with stained linens, dusty surfaces, and an unpleasant odor that permeated the space. It was clear that the hotel's commitment to maintaining a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests was severely lacking. In addition to the unsanitary conditions, the information provided on the hotel's website was inaccurate and misleading. The amenities and services advertised were nowhere to be found, leaving us feeling deceived and frustrated. This blatant misrepresentation further fueled our dissatisfaction with Zannos Melathron. Attempts to communicate our concerns to the hotel staff were met with a lack of responsiveness and dismissive attitude. It seemed as if our grievances were of no consequence to them, which only served to heighten our disappointment and frustration with the entire experience. Ultimately, the substandard conditions and unprofessional treatment we encountered at Zannos Melathron Hotel left us with no choice but to leave within the first 20 minutes of our arrival. We were fortunate to find alternative accommodation, which thankfully salvaged our Santorini vacation. I strongly advise against staying at Zannos Melathron Hotel, as the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and false advertising on their website make for a truly regrettable experience. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere.

Good location, especially if you are after something quiet. Easy bus connections to other parts of the Island i:e Thira and Perissa. Staff are really helpful and friendly and always approachable when needed. Especially hotel manager Christopher and his team. Important to keep in mind the location is on an uphill in the village therefore is not adaptable to anyone with mobility needs. Otherwise on a positive note hotel has the best views of the island.

The most recent reviews are positive for this hotel but older ones did concern me as the comments and photos were not positive at all. For that reason, I contacted the hotel and explained my concerns as I had booked before I had read them. Christopher was very honest and explained that he had only taken over the management of the hotel during the past year and his team were busy making improvements. He offered to take photos of our rooms next time they were vacated and if I was not happy then I could cancel with full refund. What great customer service!👍. The photos looked fine and since then we have messaged the team to ask questions about the surrounding area and the airport transfer etc and they have been so helpful. We go this week and will feedback on the hotel but I am sure I will be able to give good comments like the most recent guests have done! 😊

Since the first minute, we felt the hospitality of the whole staff. A tour around the Mansion was offered at check in. I was impressed about all the history behind this building. It is admire that still belongs to the Zannos family. The suites are big and spacious all of the different. Ours has two rooms, kitchen and spacious bathroom. The breakfast can be order in the room filling the menu request online the night before. The swimming pool has one of the best views of Santorini and is possible to see the sunset from any point. Pyrgos is quiet and in my opinion a gem of Santorini far from the mainstream Fira or Oia. Totally recommend this location if your plans are to move around the island.

Our visit was fantastic, but the service was nothing but amazing! We really enjoed the breakfast, as we ordered the day before what and when to eat. It is also possible to order drinks straight to the pool. But it is the staff that make the whole experience extra enjoyable. Our last three-four days we got upgraded to another suite with a private pool. Many gestures like this made our stay as a couple very special. Thank you Christopher and the rest of the staff as well!

Zannos is an old hotel on the (I think)the highest part of Santorini. We loved our stay. Kristofer, the Manager was so helpful, kind and ready to be of service. Staff was also very nice, kind and ready to fullfill every wish we had mainly concerning the breakfast. There are things needed to be improved, but I’m sure they will when the real summer season kicks off. Hotel has a wonderfull view, nice outdoor pool and several jaccuzzi also. Rooms are perfectly refreshing after day walks in the streets of Caldera or Oia and we could hardly wait to come back to our rooms. Our stay was lovely, we had a wonderfull time in and outside hotel and If you are not so picky, i fully recommend this hotel. Not excpensive and very good. At least we need friendly faces, clean rooms, good breakfast, and in this hotel all these three elements are in place. A note: those who have problems walking or climbing, there is no buss or car that drives you to the hotel. But you can allways stop and rest on the caffees on the way up. Yess, there is also a small souvlaki shop near hotel so you can stop there too, eat a souvlaki, have a mythos beer, rest and continue climbing for two more minutes. In totall we would be in our hotel for 4/5 minutes. This note is only for those who have difficulties walking or climbing. Enjoy Santorini and Zannos if you chose to stay here.

The most incredible experience Beauty, exquisite surroundings, the most beatiful sunsets, great service made our stay remarkable. Christopher and his team are the most wonderful people, go out if their sat to make our stay the best it could possibly be. We felt like at home from the moment we arrived. The property is run down and terribly managed. Non of the promises exist! Stay away!

Arriviamo in tarda serata io e i miei amici e veniamo accolti da un signore e un ragazzo per la procedura di check-in in cui non ci vengono nemmeno chiesti i documenti, subito ci viene detto che per vari problemi non possono assegnarci le camere che avevamo prenotato e che ci avrebbero dato delle altre stanze per accomodare la prima notte e che quelle prenotate ci sarebbero state date l'indomani. L'indomani i miei amici si sono recati in struttura come da accordi stabiliti il giorno prima, e sono rimasti fuori la struttura diverse ore sotto il sole poiché la struttura era chiusa, nonostante avessimo altre attività prenotate che i miei amici non hanno potuto fare, dopo qualche ora è arrivato il signore che ci aveva accolto il giorno prima, ridandogli le stesse camere, a me e il mio ragazzo è stata assegnata una stanza diversa da quella che avevamo prenotato e in una struttura totalmente diversa, anche li esperienza pessima, per l'odore di fogna fuori e dentro la camera, in più la stanza era umida, muri e pavimento bagnati, letto, lenzuola e cuscini, anche i nostri effetti personali bagnati dall'umidità, in più quando facevi la doccia rimaneva tutto bagnato poiché non c'era nemmeno una finestra, il wc dentro la doccia molto scomodo, quindi se facevi prima la doccia e poi dovevi andare in bagno potevi farlo ma era tutto bagnato tra cui anche la carta igienica, la prima sera si è anche allagata la stanza poiché lo zoccoletto della doccia non era del tutto incementato per terra essendoci un piccolo scarico della doccia favoriva la fuori uscita dell'acqua fino alla porta di ingresso quasi, le stanze non sono mai state rifatte, tovaglie mai cambiate per 4 giorni, ci asciugavamo con le tovaglie bagnate in quanto la stanza era già umida e non si asciugavano. Non ve lo consiglio, soprattutto se avete bambini. ESPERIENZA TERRIFICANTE.
