Hotel Bahia del Sol

El personal del hotel es muy amable y todos los servicios son muy correctos para el precio que pagamos.

Bel hotel bien situé à coté d'une belle grande plage. Accueil agréable, personnel souriant.Personnel du service restauration très sympa. Dommage que le jacuzzi n'était pas en route.Beau buffet varié par contre je trouve qu'il n'est pas normal que l'on doive payer l'eau quand on paye la demi-pension ! Nous avons était dans d'autres hotels de Majorque où l'eau , les sodas et le vin était en libre service. Juste coté piscine, le fait que beaucoup de personnes réservent leurs transats dès 7 h du matin en posant des serviettes sans être présents, du coup, plus de possibilité de s'installer autour de la piscine après notre petit-déjeuner , la direction de l'hotel devrait l'interdire !

Too much we did not like as others have said before. Check in slow Receptionist surly Dining room chaotic Breakfast taken away at 10.00 on the dot even though the breakfast hours are until 10.00. Staff physically stopping guests from passing for more hot water! Hand up...shouting NO at guests. We only went once...again chaotic. No proper tea, leaky teapots, water from 1 ancient old urn! Main bar is expensive. The Sky bar is much cheaper- why??? There is an extra sun terrace on Level 5. Nobody seems to use it. No poolside service for anything. The hotel has a good location, rooms are large but ours had only side sea view but we paid for sea view. Some rooms are refurbished some are old. Very few walk in showers. Lots of hot water abd good shower heads. We found the staff to be unfriendly and we won't be back to any Bahia hotel. This hotel needs a new manager and a huge amount of changes made to all services! There are many German guests. Written notices were put up only in German. The pool is unheated and there are not many sunbeds and no proper umbrellas. We enjoyed Santa Ponsa but although on half board we ate out almost all of the time.

Not a bad hotel location wise. Close to shops, bars and the beach. Food (we were half board) is ok not great but not the worst either. If you like fine dining I'd not recommend this hotel. The room was clean and big enough, however the air con was touch and go. Didnt work very well. We had a first floor room in the corner with a nice big balcony however the view was of a roof. Again ask for a higher floor room. The main issue we had was the sun beds, why people feel the need to be up at 7am to put a towel on the bed is beyond me. One the first day I got a broken one. Otherwise we would have sat om the ground. Not enough sun beds to go around. People left towels and never returned to the beds. We were told you can't reserve beds but everyone certainly did. Otherwise a good hotel if you plane to explore and be out and about or like the beach!

The hotel is lovey once you get a room in the main building and not the Annex. The lobby and main bar/ entertainment lounge have been done up since last year and look really fresh. The rooms in main building are nice and fresh with good air con . Rooms were spotless and cleaners in everyday. Would be of benifits for room to be supplied with kettle and iron but you can hire these for a deposit. We went B-B and the food plentiful with a good selection and constantly being replenished during service. Only fault we found was no water supplied during dinner unless all inclusive or you purchased. The selection of food for kids probably could be added to. Although we were not in the hotel for it , there seemed to be a good bit entertainment provided. The only other things we found fault with was the age old problem of people placing towels on Sun beds around pool which is supposed to be against hotel policy but not enforced. We prefer the beach but if U like to sit around the pool then this could present a problem. There dosnt seem to be enough beds for the size of hotel. Overall we have stayed here twice and have enjoyed both our stays. A few tweeks and the hotel could improve significantly.

Very pleasant stay. Area is amazing! Short walk to the beach. Restaurants, shops, a lot if entertainment options. Kind and helpful staff in hotel. Clean, freashly renovated facilities. Beautiful room with the sea view. Excellent food. Difficult to beat all inclusive base.

Well, not a good alexpierience for me at all... we stayed there with my sister.... First what happened was at 2 am when we arrived, coffe machine blocked, we couldn't get even hot water as I had to take my medicines. They said you can eat now as ypu traveled at night but we found in a restaurant nothing really to eat, I'd say some leftovers. 1. we booked economic room without balcony and we ended in disabled room with wall view. 2. We had a half board and no drinks were included to dinner, even water. 3. My sister got sick while we stayed there, I couldn't get her any food to the room even we paid for breakfast and dinner, she wasn't able to go down all day as she was so weak and they didn't let me even take tea for her. I was so disappointed. Staff hotel turned out very unhelpful and unfriendly.

Nice hotel , 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice large bedroom. pleasant staff. Food was ok but the food self service area is much too small and can't cope with a full hotel. We arrived just before 11 pm to check in after travelling all day .I went to the bar for a drink at 11 pm and they said sorry we are closed. I wasn't happy, Never anywhere in the world i have stayed in a 4 star hotel where the bar shuts at 11 pm especially in a holiday resort, The receptionist kindly argued on our behalf with the bar staff to give us 2 bottles of beer. Also if you order a gin and tonic at say, 10.45 pm you get it in a paper cup . Sad but we won't be going back.

Really beautiful modem hotel close to everything and literally opposite the beach. We went half board- breakfast and dinner huge selection and very tasty. We had late check in as our plane was delayed. At 3am it would have been nice to have gotten a drink. The receptionist was very accommodating and did make us a coffee. Our only gripe was that there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. And definitely not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel.
