Motel 6 Santa Clara, CA

This hotel was good for the price The cleaning staff were great the front office people were great ..only bad thing was no microwave and no refrigerator…

We read some of the reviews about this place and it said that there were some bugs. We have been here for over 2 weeks and haven't had any issues. Its quite, we feel safe and its affordable. The office people are friendly and efficient. The maids dont speak English which makes it difficult to communicate. Other than that it is not bad. Christy Patneaud

I was surprised at how clean the room was considering it’s a Motel 6, and the renovation was pretty decent despite the fact that of course, there were cigarette burns on the PVC of the bathroom tub. And the first night the linens were dirty they change them once and I had been staying for a week, and they never came again to empty garbage or change sheets. There were no signs or any indication about whether they were being sustainable for the environment or just not paying people to clean. I have no idea.

Pictures show microwave and refrigerator. Got a room with none and asked. I was told it was $11 extra per night to have a fridge and microwave. Crazy.

Friendly and very kind staff. Helpful and attentive to your needs. Would recommend to those looking for a valuable place to stay

The area has homeless people and the room has cockroaches. Also the person staying in the room above me was very loud.i can hear his footsteps. Not a good place to sleep/ relax

What can I say, it’s a Motel 6. It’s tied at #1 with the Cupertino location in my list of Motel 6. The not so good: There are unscrupulous characters that come out at night in the area. It made it feel somewhat ominous at times but nothing too concerning since they keep to themselves. It did get noisy during one of the nights but came from noisy neighbors staying there so it’ll be hit or miss for everyone on that aspect. Room was exactly what to expect, pretty clean, nothing wrong with any of the fixtures, no odd odors, no issues with the AC unit, tub was as clean as it can get. Check in was quick and easy and the lady at the desk was really friendly and easy to talk to. There are several stores and restaurants in a half mile radius which is a huge plus if you don’t mind the walk. The price per night and its location balances out the least desirable stuff. Overall it was a decent stay.

- no soap or shampoo in the bathroom - the AC does not work - there is a fly inside the room!
