Insotel Tarida Beach Resort & Spa

2nd time in this Hotel.1st time was the Sensatori .Still as beautiful as ever.Very clean ,food excellent, staff Friendly/helpful. Beach fantastic. Only difference beach bar now not all inclusive but overall experience excellent.

Fantastic hotel set in beautiful surroundings ,lovely beach great for swimming,hotel pool was great though a touch cold, plenty of sunbeds ,all inclusive food & drinks are excellent with plenty of choice on both counts,evening meal with the backdrop of the sunsets were something special.Staff & resort are excellent ,special mention for Antonia in the breakfast room tip top service with smile, would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a chilled out holiday it's great thank you for a lovely break .

10/10 for everything no bad points food excellent vast choice at every meal rooms clean and tidy - Italian was excellent- sunset bar lovely too - the best sunsets every single night from the dining room and on our balcony - 3rd time we’ve been here.

This is a 3 star hotel at best, absolutely NOT worthy of a 5 star. Checking in upon arrival was a shambles. We arrived at 11am and told our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm. No water or food provided upon arrival until the buffet opened for lunch. Majority of bar staff / waiters look miserable, tired / overworked and not v. friendly. When eating at the buffet, the waiters clear your plates but left dirty knives and forks on the table to reuse if you go back for a second plate of food. The free Italian restaurant as part of the all inclusive wasn’t nice (rubbery pasta). We then chose to book at the Sunset restaurant which is a Tapas restaurant charged at €42 euro pp. We booked this for a change of scenery because there’s little else to do around the hotel and no evening entertainment for adults. The food was TERRIBLE and we returned half the plates. We left half way through the meal and immediately informed guest services of our experience. The public relations manager was very defensive and we were told “well no one else has complained”, she interrogated us on what we had/hadn’t eaten and didn’t provide us with an apology. We felt upset and frustrated that our feedback wasn’t taken onboard. There is no fresh water provided in the hotel rooms. You’re provided with one bottle which you have to refill at the bar (you’re one of the lucky ones if you get a plastic bottle with a screw cap… our neighbours had a glass bottle with a bottle cap lid) - the still water tastes like chemicals, so steer clear!!! Alcoholic cocktails have hardly any alcohol in, the beer is watered down. The sunset bar was full of small children if there was no kids disco on. Pool water was FREEZING. The TUI animation team were non-existent and very patronising when we did speak to them. We won’t be revisiting and couldn’t wait to go home.

The Tarida was a lovely place to stay. We had 2 x 17 year old sons with us and being able to use the Adult Pool and Adult dining section was lovely. They also loved the pool table and table tennis. These were very popular with all ages so could have done with a few more of these. We played tennis which was good but it took quite a few days to get a court booked and this was at the end of the season. The food was what you would expect from an all inclusive but there seemed to be a reliance on pasta which was not that great. Towards the end of our stay, the Adult section for meals was made smaller and smaller which was not expected. The choice of cocktails and snacks available during the day was very good. The Italian restaurant that can be used once per stay was very nice. The food and service was great!! The rooms themselves were lovely, clean and had the best shower! The water was hot and the pressure was amazing!! The resort was also very clean and a really nice environment. We visited Ibiza town which was lovely to get out of the complex and see some more of the island. As it was the end of the season we were warned that the buses would not be running a regular service and a lot of places would be closed. Unfortunately, the noise travelled a lot when we were in the room. We could hear the occupants of the room upstairs come into their room and use the bathroom - not great. There was also a lot of noise outside from other tourists. They seemed to forget that there many other people staying at the same place so didn't need to keep shouting to each other. The Wifi was shocking! At best it worked at a low signal level for a little time. At worst, it was just not available for whole days at a time. With teenage sons, this was not great. I had booked the hotel as it stated that there was WiFi available throughout the hotel. This is something that needs to be looked at or not included as something that is available for use.

Tui Blue Tarida Beach formally known as TUI Senatori. I would highly recommend this hotel. This is a very large family friendly hotel which is set on a hill so there is lots of walking up and down. We did however have a pushchair and we did not find using it a problem. Pros: • Short flight and transfer • Family and couple friendly (separate adult only pool) • Buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great choice of food and views of the beach • Choice of pools (bars at all pools with a range of spirits, cocktails, slush, ice creams and lollies) • The Retreat (a short walk from the hotel) with a splash park, buffet, bar and ice cream freezer to choose your own. Daily activities programme. • Friendly, hard working staff who do anything to make your stay great • Clean, spacious rooms with fresh towels when requested and a large bottles of water • Fantastic kids club for ages 3-12. 10-12pm, 2-4pm. Parties at 4:30-6:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (booked via the Tui Blue app) and mini disco (apart from a Saturday) • On the beach with excellent sunset views Things to know: • Lots of walking on an incline • The beach is a public beach so you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas • The Sunset restaurant and the beach bar are not included in all inclusive • The Retreat splash park is separate to the hotel so depending on where your room is in the resort, it could be a 5-10 minute walk away. It opens at 10:30am so be prepared to queue in the sun from about 10:15am if you want a sunbed. We always managed to get sunbeds and an umbrella and didn't find the wait a problem. Please don't be put off by some of the reviews- it was a really good hotel.

this hotel is at this time not a sensatori in the way i think of sensatori hotels, everything is not quite ready, its as though the small simple things have not been thought out, the staff are definitely 5 star plus, the food lukewarm quite often and at times many of the selections were empty and we had to wait for refills, most of the good entertainment and speciality restaurants were in the sister hotel. my sister had the misfortune to walk into an unmarked window and damaged her face quite badly, when the manager came he agreed that something needed to be done urgent. and by the next morning they had placed big plantpots by the windows concerned. as i said at this time i dont think it a sensatori.

We stayed at this hotel from the 28th of July for a week. This is not like other Sensatori hotels. This is more a 3 * hotel than a 5*. The rooms are clean and my comments do not reflect on the majority of staff who work extremely hard, especially Jamie working at the adults pool bar and sunset bar. The beach is clean, the sea amazing but it is crowded as it’s a public beach so locals visit the beach daily. The resort is spread over a vast distance so you do have to walk up hills, if you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you. Entertainment is poor and even the DJs finish at 10 pm and there is nothing really to do On the plus side the weather was perfect it was between 30 to 32 degrees most days We stayed in an adults only room and by the adult only pool, as we wanted a relaxing break but the children’s pool looked good. We hired a car for two days to explore the island which was a plus and it’s worthwhile seeing all of Ibiza and not just staying in the hotel all week As previous reviews we will not be returning to this hotel but may return one day to Ibiza

After reading some of the negative reviews I was a bit worried about coming to the hotel. But don’t be put off…The hotel is wonderful and clean, the gardens are kept immaculate, and the food was delicious. Always so much choice. It is hilly around the resort, and in the heat, this could be difficult for some people. There isn’t much to do around the hotel, so if you want to venture out, book at taxi at reception. We were quite happy to have a relaxing time and not do too much. As as party of varying ages, it caters a lot for the little ones, but there isn’t much for teenagers to do. A pool table or table tennis at the main resort would be nice. There is one at the retreat which is a 5 min walk away, but this shuts at 6pm. There are lots of Bali beds which you can pay 24 Euros, not many people seemed to use them especially at the adult pool, it would make more sense to have extra sunloungers. The sunset bar can get busy as there are not many chairs/tables. But after 10pm, the restaurant area is available to sit in. I feel there should be more places to sit in the evening, a lot of people sat on sun loungers by the adults pool, as there wasn’t enough seating. The beach is nice, but sunbeds are expensive to hire. But you get the most amazing sunsets, we spent an evening on the beach and it was fantastic for photos. The T Beach bar, looks lovely, but as it’s payable, was always empty, it’s such a waste, as it looks lovely. The all inclusive covers branded drinks also, there’s only a few things not included which they tell you if you order one of them. We took water bottles to fill up and keep in our fridge in room, as they only provide 1 bottle for the room, and you can’t get more bottles. Towels can be changed daily at the pools, and when leaving make sure to hand the towels back and get the towel card to hand in at reception, or you may be charged for the towel. Souvenir shop is a 5min walk away, near the retreat, and there a a spar shop, about 10mins walk away got any bits you need. There is also a small shop at the hotel, but this is quite pricey and doesn’t sell much. Would recommend getting the TUI blue app on you phone. This lets you find times/ book activities and has lots of useful information on it. We paid for a TUI excursion to Ibiza town one morning and we’re picked up at 9.30, it wasn’t until we were on our way the rep told us most shops don’t open until lunchtime and we were being picked up at 1.30, so don’t book this if wanting to shop, but good for sightseeing. I would recommend going later in the day by taxi. Overall we had an amazing time, I would definitely come back.
