Clean and cozy. Appreciated the family-owned/managed feel. Reasonable pricing. Great location near CalPoly and downtown. Adequate parking and lovely staff. Old school style motel that is clean with amenities that travelers want - satellite TV, coffee pot and fridge in toom and comfy beds.

Definitely dated and room had a bit of a smell to it. Good location with great restaurants/breweries all around. I’d stay there again but just for one night while passing through.

The hotel was pleasant with a nice spacious room. The staff person at check in was very helpful. The small dining table in the room was very much appreciated. I would be happy to stay again when visiting San Luis Obispo.

What a nice place to stay in SLO! The kind lady at the desk told us about the weekly Farmers Market in walking distance. It was fantastic! (Thursday nights) Villa Motel is directly across the street from The Hub which houses Central Coast Brewery and Krobar Distillery. Both wonderful and they have food trucks on site.
SLO is a great city, very walkable and friendly. Villa Motel is quaint and comfy. Would definitely stay again!

The room we stayed in had a vaulted, open beam ceiling with finished wood. It was a simple room, but it was very very well maintained. It had a coffee pot, a very quiet heater and a lovely shower. We were checked in by a very sweet, older lady who walked us to our room and showed us how the TV and heater worked. We'll be back.

Perfectly adequate for a one night stop over. The hotel is older and could use some repairs outside. The room was clean, in good repair, and spacious. The staff was super nice. No problems.

Great overnight stop or I think they offer weekly rates. Nothing fancy but a great overnight place. Walking distance to downtown and close to the bus stop .The owners are friendly and the rooms are clean .Plenty of parking in front of your room
