My wife and I returned after an absence of a few years. We had a great stay. It was lovely to see the owners, Pierre and Michel again and their great staff, particularly Karine and Mariane. They all make such effort to ensure their guests have a great time. Our accommodation was, as usual, excellent and the cleaning staff always left the room immaculate every day of our stay. We daily enjoyed one of the swimming pools. As ever, the highlight for us was having dinner in the garden every night which we always find magical. The food prepared by Yuan was very good with a different menu each night. It is excellent value. There is also a good wine list with many local wines listed. St Remy is a short walk from the hotel. We have already booked to stay again in 2025.

Super hotel with a great restaurant. Set meal in the evening was delicious and reasonably priced. No a la carte available for evening dining. A terrific location, very quiet, close to Van Gogh museum and the town centre. 2 lovely swimming pools with lots of seating in a pleasant garden setting. Plenty of car parking.

Superb! This was our third visit, and we still love it. Great spot to stroll the ten minutes to the centre of St Remy, or visit Glanum or hike to the Alpilles. The menu is eat what they suggest, but we like that as we’ve eaten superb food we wouldn’t have chosen. Staff were fabulous. It’s maybe ready for a bit of a makeover in some areas, but don’t let that worry you. It’s superb!

The hotel is located on the edge of town - and that's a good thing. St. Remy is lovely, but it is congested and noisy. The hotel is on a beautiful two acres, where the parking lot is really a garden. The restaurant is wonderful and the staff couldn't be more helpful. This is a quintessential country French hotel.

This review also refers to tour company Best of France Travels. Earlier this year I paid for a terribly expensive tour of Provence with Best of France Travels. As credit cards were not accepted I had to transfer the money into a US bank account. The tour included six nights, with breakfast and dinner each day, at Mas des Carassins. I had to cancel due to serious family illness. While the tour conditions stated that there would be no refund if cancelled within 0-59 days (I gave 12 days notice) I thought that under the circumstances the tour provider would consider providing me with a refund, part refund or a credit. She would not. I then requested the same of Mas des Carassins but was also refused. While this action by both parties maybe legally correct, I believe it to be morally deficient. Be warned if you are thinking of booking with Best of France Travels or at Mas des Carassins.

We spent 4 nights in a deluxe double and loved both the room and hotel. We had a huge patio, a nice bathroom with both shower and tub,stone walls, sofa and large comfy bed. The grounds and gardens are lovely with interesting sculptures sprinkled throughout. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner outside each day. Staff are very friendly, location close to town is ideal. Also beautiful pool area. The restaurant which I've reviewed separately is superb. Do stay there.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved how walkable it was into St Remy.Unfortunately we were on a half board basis and had the set menu the first two nights.Both meals no choice just what you was served not great and meat everyday.The breakfast you have to serve yourself hardly a hotel standard and very bland to say the least.We ended up having breakfast in town and dined out the last three nights.Rooms also not soundproofed very loud neighbours above scraping chairs late at night and from 6.50am in the morning.The room was nice with a terrace shame about inconsiderate guests above us.The decor is lovely and reception staff super helpful.Would we return no we would not.

Our favorite spot. Adventuring in Provence and coming back here for a swim in the glorious pool and then an exceptional (and included) price fixed dinner in the beautiful gardens is amazing. We have been here twice and will likely make it a bi-annual trip. Can’t go wrong.

Definitely the highlight of trip in South of France. Amazing food and wine amidst outdoor dining in the garden. Walking distance to shopping and galleries. Our hosts Michael and Pierre’s attention to detail is incredible. Booking essential, no regrets
