This was our second stay in this hotel, our previous stay was exactly a year before. We returned because we enjoyed our previous stay so much and it's an ideal base for cycling up the Chamrousse. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The rooms are not huge but good enough and I think most, if not all have some form of balcony. There is a nice pool that we used on arrival and was a really bonus in the exceptionally hot weather. However, where we were disappointed was with the food. Last time it was gourmet standard, and practically silver service. This time it was unimaginative and basic. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the food, it was just very ordinary. For starter we had a pea gazpacho with bacon chips, for main it was a chicken breast with roast new potatoes and spinach, the dessert was a vacherin. It wasn't food to excite and didn't justify the 43 euro cost. It didn't match our experience of a year before. The only saving grace was a decent bottle of wine.

We so enjoyed our time at Les Mesanges. Beautiful surroundings, quiet rooms and a beautiful pool. A great place to relax! We would definitely return for the proximity to the mountains and the helpful staff and beautiful setting

A big thank you to Manon at the reception who raised the level of welcome. The restaurant staff could be more pleasant and friendly. Especially Chilean "Jennifer" should learn manners or change professions.

What a truly wonderful place to stay and eat. I wish we had stayed longer to be able to use the swimming pool. The room we had wasn't overly large, but had everything we needed and an extremely large balcony which again had we stayed longer we would have used. The views from the terrace are spectacular towards the Vercors and the Chartreuse massif, so we took our breakfast here the morning we left. The staff are very welcoming and obviously take pride in their hotel: I believe it's a family run hotel.? If we are in the region again we will stay for longer, as there are both walks and cycle routes/ climbs around Chamrousse which is not far away. The food in the restaurant is excellent, but I will leave a separate review for that.

Excellent room for a family. Big garden for the kids to play in, large and good swimming pool. . Quality of food was good but the selection is French and a little limited. Service of the staff is also the best.

De passage dans la région pour deux nuits jai décidé de poser ma valise aux mesanges et je ne regrette pas mon choix. Le cadre est magnifque. Les chambres sont confortables et tres propres. La litterie de tres bonne qualité. Calme verdure et sérénité baignent ce lieu. Le petit déjeuner propose une offre variée et de qualité aussi bien dans le sucré que dans le salé. Sans compter l'équipe au petit soin pour ses clients et toujours de bons conseils pour faire découvrir les environs. Nul doute que je reviendrais avec plaisir.

A l'occasion de la fête des mères nous avons voulu découvrir ce restaurant..Repas au demeurant bon même si rien d'exceptionnel pour un repas, quand même à 44 € / personnes.(ce n'est pas un restaurant gastronmique ni étoilé .Quant au Kir royal (il porte bien son nom car facturé à 9.50€/Pièce ;pour les 3 vous payez le prix de la bouteille) Enfin le "clou du spectacle .Je me suis fait alpagué par les serveuses sur le parking (à l"écoute des clients qui etaient encore présents) en me faisant rappeler à l'ordre comme quoi je partais sans payer..Alors que celà avait été fait mais le receptionniste s'etait trompé de table !!!Même si le patron s'est au demeurant excusé trop tard le mal était fait (je ne suis pas arrivé à 58 ans pour passer pour un voleur et mauvais payeur) Conclusion : l'essai n'étant pas performant il n"y aura donc pas de prochaine fois dans cet établissement....

Bella posizione in un’oasi di pace e di tranquillità. Pulito ed ordinato. Personale gentile e disponibile. Si mangia anche bene. Soddisfacente anche la prima colazione. Giudizio più che positivo, anche il rapporto qualità prezzo non male.
