Maistra Camping Veštar Mobile Homes

First of all, the campsite is good with nice looking and new facilities but a bit small. In general we had a good vacation, but the dialog with the campsite and Maistra ( Campsite owner) destroyed much of this! One year before arrival, we asked for an offer via mail directly to Maistra. In the mail we informed about dates and that we would bring our own caravan but also number of persons (number of adults + children). After I received an offer, which we accepted but at the same time, asked Maistra to confirm if this were for all 5 persons which were stated in the first mail. This isn´t answered directly, and I don´t note this. On the day of checking out, the price for our stay has now gone from 14076,06HRK(1875,18Euro) to 19864,56HRK(2635,40Euro) without tax 19505,02HRK (2587,70Euro) which gives a difference of 5428,96 (720,25Euro). The price difference is due to the fact that the offer I received, were only for one person, and now two more adults were included. Also basic information like my name and nationality were wrong, which made the check In, much longer then anticipated. Along with the campsite reception we agreed on paying the full amount and afterwards have the discussion with Maistra about this, due to the fact that I haven´t done any mistakes and this were Maistra´s mistake alone( words from the reception. I have now been in contact with Maistra since we got home. From the start they have denied to have done any mistakes and now I don´t get any reply´s from them. This is extremely disappointing! We had our eyes on some of their other campsites, and if they had handled this cases good, we would have visited one of them in 2024, but this is very much of the table.

Had a lovely stay here, campsite was perfect for our two young boys. They loved all the activities, there's so much to do. We only had 3 nights but could have stayed a lot longer. Mobile home was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were impressed with the service all round the campsite and the facilities were of good quality. Definitely would return and recommend.

would have given it a 3 star since the Mobil house was ok but I give the the camping 1 star since you have to pay 6 euro per sunbed at the pool which belongs to the hotel which is outrageous. On bookings where I booked it it was included but still they said this was new and I had to pay. You pay here like it is a luxury hotel. For kids the pool is great. When it is a camping. I travel a lot every year and have never payed for a sunchair/sunbed that belongs to the hotel at the pool?’!!! The beach is not wonderful, but I don’t find the beaches in Istria very nice. The best beaches are at the islands or south Croatia. Our Mobil home was quite new so it was nice but the nature is very dull with no trees or green even if our Mobil house was called “Forrest escape” . Maybe better to give it the name once they have planted more stuff instead of just having red soil. Didn’t sleep great since it gets very light in the morning so bring sleep mask.

Five star facilities and simply fabulous staff! Spotlessly clean washrooms and communal facilities. Camping places offer sun or shade and vary in size. You can choose if bookings allow (we asked to move and were accommodated). Everything you need on site and more. Plenty to do for couples and families. It was busy when we stayed so a bit noisy but we didn’t mind - people having fun. You can easily drive to Rovinj - definitely worth a visit - stunning town. Also, cycle from campsite but beware you have to go through other campsites including a nudist one! We were the only Brits on site…. it’s a long way to get here but we recommend this place! Staff were all helpful and friendly. Beach restaurant offers great menu and drinks on waterside.

Excellent mobile homes with air conditioning and great layout for families. Pool can get busy but is fun

Nice place. Many mobile homes, some with sea view, but ours was in forest retreat. Not bad. Two bedrooms, two toilets with showers, a nice terrace with a shade. Dogs are allowed. A bit pricey, but this is expected in Croatia these days (unfortunately). A decent shop where you cannot charge your account, a pizza place and a restaurant (or something that acts like one), and a bakery where you can charge your account. Pity, would be better if they all applied the same policy. A minus for that. Will go there again but not in high season

Zatrzymałem się na kempingu camperem na tydzień w majówkę. Cały teren jest zbudowany na nowo. Nowe alejki, nasadzenia, słupki oświetleniowe, nowa recepcja, stanowisko do zlewania szarej wody i mycia samochodu, centrum sportowe. Teren basenu został przebudowany i różni się od poprzedniego tym, że jest więcej miejsca dla małych dzieci. Oprócz tego jest splash plac z wodotryskami i basen o głębokości 3,5 m z trampoliną. Przy basenie znajduje się bar z napojami i lodami oraz budka z hamburgerami, ktora była jeszcze nieczynna podczas mojego pobytu w maju. Do wejścia na basen potrzebna jest bransoletka wydawana w recepcji. Leżaki i parasole przy basenie przed sezonem były bezpłatne. Moja parcela premium była żwirowo-ziemna więc warto zabrać ze sobą maty do rozłożenia przed camperem/przyczepą. Na parceli była woda, prąd i odpływ kanalizacji na fekalia. Sanitariatów jest kilka i raczej z każdej parceli jest blisko do nich. W budynku sanitariatów są zlewozmywaki, pralnia, łazienki, toalety, stanowisko do mycia psów oraz przy każdym budynku plac zabaw dla dzieci. Łazienki są nowe, na bardzo wysokim poziomie z armaturą hansgrohe i suszarkami, ogrzewane, drzwi automatyczne, oświetlenie led. Toalety i kabiny prysznicowe znajdują się w oddzielnych pomieszczeniach. Jest też oddzielna łazienka z niskimi umywalkami i prysznicami dla dzieci. Dostępne są za opłatą 7€ pralka i 3,5€ suszarka do ubrań oraz zmywarka do naczyń (nie znam ceny). Na początku sezonu na terenie kempingu była otwarta jedna restauracja włoska Basilico. Z zewnątrz bardzo ładna, ale nie zdąrzyłem skorzystać. Ceny jak za jedzenie w miasteczku. Czynna była piekarnia oraz stragan z warzywami. Na kempingu dostępne jest bezpłatne WiFi ale nie w każdym miejscu jest dobry zasięg. Market oraz cały plac centralny były jeszcze w przebudowie. Mają być otwarte na wysoki sezon. Masaże też były nieczynne. Gdzieniegdzie prowadzone są jeszcze pracę budowlane. Plaża żwirowa bardzo długa ale nie za szeroka. W zatoce są ostre kamienie więc warto zabrać ze sobą buty do wody. Nie było jeżowców. Zatoka jest osłonięta od morza lasem więc nie wieje zbyt mocno i jest fajna do pływania na desce SUP. Stare miasto Rovinj jest oddalone o 7,9 km. Do Rovinj można się dostać ścieżką rowerową w około pół godziny, samochodem 9 minut, pieszo nie próbowałem. Veštar to jest najlepszy kemping na jakim byłem do tej pory w Europie. Jeżeli wszystkie budowy zostaną ukończone to może być numerem 1 w ofercie Maistra.

Wir waren nun das 2. Mal auf diesem Campingplatz und hatten ein Mobilheim gebucht. Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben im Vorjahr gebucht und dadurch einen verhältnismäßig günstigen Preis für 4 Personen + Hund gezahlt. Die Preise auf dem Campingplatz - aber auch im Umkreis sind in den letzten Jahren stark gestiegen. Da kann man für ein Softgetränk 0,33 im Restaurant auch mal €4,80 zahlen. Das ist einfach zu viel. Die Lage ist aber toll und die Bucht wunderschön.
