Røst Bryggehotell

Upon arrival we recieved a very dirty room, with dust, dirt and bottles laying around. We requested a switch, and got a slightly cleaner room wich was still dirty. (We even found unmarked pills/medicine in a cabinet). Just before checkout we discovered that the whole ceiling and most of the walls was covered in bugs (pictures). The staff said it was because we had our window open, wich was nescessary due to the bad air in the room. At nighttime the door that seperated the hallway from the rest of the hotel was locked, and we had to use the fireescape to exit the hotel. We didnt reicive any information about this, so we are very glad a fire didnt break out. The breakfast was very simple, with pizzaslices and dirt from the night before under the table. At the checkout we were asked to pay 300NOK more than agreed at the online booking, but we ended up with the right price in the end. Next time we will rather stay in a tent than book our stay at Røst bryggehotell

Ate the worst hamburger ever made, and paid a price of 250kr. Do not eat at this place! The waitor hardly spoke english, the burger was made from frozen muk-meat. The fries tasted of old oil. The restaurant is uninviting, although the location is wonderful, it seems as If the owner does not care.

I went here to eat while on Røst. Great creamy fish soup and the crab/prawn/ salmon entree was even better! I wish I could have had two (I could have had, had I ordered it but then I probably wouldn’t have had any room left for the fish soup ;) ). Wine selection could have been better. All in all, money well spent!
