Roma Dreaming Suites & Lofts

Our stay was a Roma Nightmare rather than a dream. Having booked 5 nights in total we had to cancel after one. The cause was simply a bed that was not fit for purpose and could only be described as a ‘lumpy crater’. Impossible to sleep in without back or neck pain I honestly thought the bed had broken. Rolled straight into the middle. The bed we were assured was not broken, we were told by the manager the mattresses throughout the property were well over 10 years old and they had never had a complaint. Until us. Really? I can’t believe it. Perhaps the problem lies in the fact the mattresses are original and past it. I have been on breaks, holidays and overnights all over Europe and further afield and this bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. We contacted the manager who was most uncooperative and kept saying our opinion was ‘subjective’ and he wasn’t going to offer another room or change the mattress. To make matters worse we had paid in advance for the first 2 nights, we received only a one night refund for the night we left but we paid for our most uncomfortable night and were short changed by 7 euros per person. The refund took 4 days and several emails. Sadly not a place to recommend a bed is a basic. Very disappointing experience.

Sinceramente no entiendo cómo este "hotel" tiene tan buena puntuación, no sé si es que la gente no es nada exigente (aunque luego para auténticas chorradas nos quejamos...) o qué, pero de verdad que el hotel no puede ser más cutre. O al menos la habitación que nos dieron es la peor... Que también puede ser. Pero no me creo que una habitación pueda ser TAN SUMAMENTE MALA y el resto maravillosas. Empecemos porque la cocina es compartida. Algo que en ningún sitio se menciona. La habitación está demasiado vieja y anticuada, no la han cuidado. Se han limitado a ir limpiando pero no ha tenido un buen mantenimiento. El colchón no lo han cambiado desde que hicieron el hotel, es increíble la forma que tiene, el agujero en el centro. Si duerme una persona todavía podría descansar... Pero dos personas es misión imposible. Las sábanas rotas... La ducha tremendamente sucia, el agua que sale de la alcochofa sale hacia todaa las direcciones menos hacia abajo de la cantidad de cal que se ha ido acumulando y no se ha mantenido. Cuando enciendes el agua caliente la caldera (situada en el armario) se mueve tanto que hace toda la habitación (tengo un vídeo que lo muestra pero esta app no me deja subir vídeos), y si se te ocurre cerrar el grifo ya no vuelve a salir caliente. He estado en albergues infinitamente mejores que este antro. No vale la pena.

Situato strategicamente nel cuore di Roma, ho trovato delizioso questo Aparthotel. La proprietaria è gentilissima e il personale HSK lo è altrettanto. La stanza prenotata è con terrazza vista cupolone, ma nonostante la zona centrale la palazzina era situata in un punto molto silenzioso ed assolato. Gli appartamenti sono 2 o 4 per piano. Ogni appartamento è dotato di bagno privato con cucina accessoriata in comune. Le stanze sono pulite ed accoglienti. La palazzina è dotata di ascensore, utilizzato unicamente dagli ospiti della struttura. Ma l’essere situata così centralmente, non solo per il Vaticano ma anche per i negozi, ha reso indimenticabile il nostro soggiorno. Se ci fosse disponibilità in futuro, tornerò di sicuro.
