Hotel Lirico

お部屋は可愛い。狭いが十分。充電できるところが少なかったのと、速度が遅かった。ただ、どこのローマのホテルはどこもそんな感じなのかもしれないので、期待しないほうがいい。

Cozy hotel, very well situated, clean, quiet, comfortable, well situated close to Termini and walking distance to most interesting places to visit. The staff was amazing. We also enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Wi-fi was working fine. We felt so welcomed, I would return any time.

Great location! Easy walk from Termini even with luggage. Quiet vehicle restricted street. Modest room but still comfortable. Must be able to manage a flight of stairs to access lobby and the lift. Handy kettle and refrigerator in the room.

The Hotel is an easy walk from the Termini rail station. Very close to the Roma Opera House in a neighborhood full of Hotels and small Trattoria style restaurants. The staff was always welcoming and pleasant. The room was cleaned every day and maintained in an excellent state as was the entire hotel. Breakfast was continental and contained fresh rolls, fruit, cereals, hard boiled eggs, etc with excellent coffee made fresh. We received a discount for cash and paid portions daily to avoid having too much $ on hand. There is a bank ATM around the corner which did not charge fees. There is an excellent Trattoria right next to the hotel. Great pasta and pizza and house wine. Another excellent restaurant nearby is Est Est Est. We took the High Speed Train to Naples one day and the local train to Sorrento and back. It was an easy day trip. The Colosseum and Forum were only two metro stops away from the Termini station. Be very careful of pick pockets. My wife had her credit cards picked right from her zipped pocket book. They were cancelled immediately but the Police made excuses about who was responsible to investigate and report the matter. Clearly they had no interest. Do not use the Metro unless you literally put valuable papers in your underwear. A sad situation in Rome. Sorrento felt much safer.

Whole hotel has recently been refurbished and is lovely. Our double room was much larger than expected and contained a fridge, air conditioning, and TV. TV has a couple of English channels, including BBC News and NHK World. Bathroom clean and had a standing shower. Window looked out over Opera house. Very quiet at night as road not heavily trafficked. Hotel is very close to Termini Station and easy walking distance from the Colossium and Trevi Fountain. Just be warned, there are around 20 steps to get into the hotel in case you have mobility issues. Only small complaint was that the bed was a bit hard, but soon got used to this after putting a blanket down to lie on. All in all, we had a great 5 nights here and would choose to use this hotel again.

Such friendly and welcoming staff, really helpful and nice. The pictures of the rooms don’t do them justice - fabric on the walls and very clean and well catered for all around! Nice walk to main attractions - even with a young teen, lovely restaurants all around and close to all public transport. The staff are really helpful & knowledgable with directions and local things like the transport and happy to help too. Perfect city place to stay and defiantly recommend to all.
