Ulasan Windsor Asturias Hotel

The surroundings of the hotel are dangerous. Crime happened right in front of the hotel. When I was waiting for uber driver at the front door of the hotel, not stepping on the street, and with 2 hotel staffs on my right side, a man came on a bike from the right side and grabbed my cell phone. At the same time, a police car passed by. Under such circumstances, the crime still happened. The hotel staffs seem to be used to these crimes and they won't really help even they have the evidence such as surveillance camera. Such rampant crimes in the hotel area are out of my expectation. Don't bet on your luck.

Check in was nice, we arrived earlier and they allowed us to leave our luggage which was very nice. The bedroom was spotless and the bathroom MASSIVE, plenty of space. The pool and service were very nice, sunny and spacious. That elevator was like getting into a 100 floors building because it was FAST. Breakfast was excellent, there were a lot of options and a good thing about this hotel is that it's just 30 seconds away from Cinelandia train station which will take you almost everywhere in Rio for just 1.30 USD. Now, the area although was carnival week and there were a lot of tourists, you do feel it kinda dangerous to walkby. The lobby staff WILL let you know to hide your cellphone and keep attention at your surroundings. Returning from the carnival we were almost rob just feet away from the hotel but nothing serious, this because during this week ALMOST everything in Rio is closed including some stations between 8pm and 6am. So, keep your eyes open. Uber gets really easy to the location and is very cheap actually. To be honest, the hotel was great, an amazing way to start our vacations through Brazil.

The hotel is in a good location and is within walking distance to many attractions. The service attitude of the staff is also good. The decoration of the room is ordinary, but the facilities are acceptable and the breakfast is satisfactory. There are many restaurants and street food nearby.

Old mid-range hotel in the city center. Rooms were okay and breakfast was good. Small rooftop pool with a good view. I had a friend visiting me, but they didn't allow us to go to the rooftop bar together. Only guests are allowed inside, so we had to find somewhere to chat outside. Not really great.

As always, a wonderful welcome, delicious breakfast food, clean and comfortable rooms. Everything great, once again!

The accommodation is well located, it is excellent in terms of facilities and services offered, the prices of the bar and room service are convenient. The breakfast is very good as well. I recommend the accommodation in Windsor Asturias. Finally, I would like to add that the staff is very attentive and always in the best mood.

The service is extremely bad. The door lock is difficult to open. The faucet is broken. Breakfast is overcharged. It is recommended to remove this hotel from the list.

Hotel with great location in the center of RJ, impeccable facilities and extremely helpful staff. Although check-in only takes place at 3 pm, the hotel offers free luggage storage, even after check-out. For all these reasons, I intend to stay at this hotel again soon and I recommend it here to those who don't know it yet.

Just a good hotel especially for the price. Fairly safe neighborhood in the center of the city. A lot of vagrants who don't appeal to you. A delicious pizzeria directly across the street from the hotel.

I've been to the hotel other times and as always, everything was perfect!!! Great service, the receptionist was very helpful. I recommend it and would come back again and again! Wonderful breakfast!
