Lydia Maris Resort & Spa

Stayed for a week, all inclusive. Very clean comfy rooms, amazing chef and great food every day. Wide selection of meals across main restaurant, grill bar and pizzeria. Very friendly and welcoming service. The cherry on the cake is pool bar with great barman’s and lovely drinks. Special kudos to Juliano, his strawberry shots are heavenly tasty ☀️☺️🍸🩵🩵🩵

Juliano is the kindest and funniest member of staff I’ve met this holiday ! Been very helpful this holiday and kept the good fun vibes going till the bar closes. I will definitely be back to see Juliano again ! Also wanted to add the food, entertainment/entertainers and management have been fantastic, thank you for giving me a trip to remember !!

I’ve have just visited Lydia Maris in Greece, and what can I say, this has been the trip of a lifetime. The management has been superb throughout, and very helpful. The entertainment/ entertainers have been brilliant keeping us occupied all day long with fun activities throughout the day I have been participating in. The bar staff are fantastic and definitely make your holiday the well deserved break you deserve, from beautiful drinks and great vibes, I can honestly say this is the place to stay if you are visiting Greece. A massive shoutout to Juliano behind the bar, he is an absolute legend every day, and is always there if you need any help in the hotel or the area and makes you a smashing Cocktail. To finis the review, I can confirm I will definitely be returning to the hotel, and I highly recommend and will be telling everyone I know about this hotel. Thank you Lydia Maris for my amazing stay!!!!!

Nice clean place, not sure re its 5Star rating! Nice clean resort, friendly staff, walking distance from beach, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Restaurant had plenty of food options, but labelling of the food was always hit and miss. You had to keep asking staff for options due to infrequent labelling. Room was cleaned daily by very friendly staff. Overall experience satisfied, but its 4 star at best!

I cannot believe all the positive reviews, where on earth have you guys been staying and eating at. Please do NOT be fooled like I was, it is NOT 5 star! I travel every month to different countries and places and I can confirm this is the second worst hotel I have stayed at. 3 stars maximum. I can’t begin to talk about everything I went through the last 7 days of my stay however, the only positive throughout everything was that the outdoor barman was always happy and smiling and was really kind.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Nothing to complain about. Don’t understand some of the negative reviews. Clean rooms and communal areas. Staff very friendly (especially the cleaning staff!), food very good. Nice, spacious rooms. Comfy beds. The perfect holiday. Not a single thing to complain about.

After reading some of the reviews before arriving here we were a bit apprehensive. However as we have travelled to many different countries and experienced 5* hotels before, this hotel has been under rated. They have had a new chef recently and WOW the food really is 5* its beautiful. A really good variety for all and so tasty. Our maid is so lovely and friendly nothing is too much trouble. Clean towels and room cleaned daily. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean with kitchen staff and waitresses wearing hats and gloves to handle food. Usually when you book all inclusive their alcoholic drinks are ok but wine is like vinegar. Wine here is really good and cocktails are strong and great menu to choose from. Very good for families and children and wheelchair friendly. Little shop on site selling nessities and one 100yrds down the road. Bus stop right outside with regular busses running to many places. You can book excursions just outside the hotel and hire cars, motorbikes and quad bikes. The shops are 200yrds right of hotel up a slight incline and then flat across the top of street with bars and a couple of restaurants. It's a nice 10 min stroll to the beach which was lovely and clean. Quiet in May just how we like it. Weather us great blue sky and sunshine all day about 25 degrees. Would recommend a cardigan or light jacket for the evening as its a little chilly with a breeze. This is so nice as you can sleep well. Reception speak good English and are very nice and helpful. We had a ham and cheese roll and bottle of water in our fridge waiting for us in our room as we arrived at 10.30pm. I thought this was a lovely gesture. I would recommend you bring some Euros as you do need to purchase your own water bottle for room if you need any. Lovely quiet and relaxing but with a choice to go out and explore. We thought this would be nice to give positive feedback as people are so negative and this hotel really is a lovely place. Comfy bed and pillows and great powerful shower. You also have a choice of swim up rooms . Nice contained hotel so not far to walk to the bar or the rooms. Plenty of sunbeds and lovely pool. Lovely children's pool and park. Jacuzzi if you like that also. There is evening entertainment most nights if you like that. They even have children's bikes and cars you can hire in reception. A lovely seating area with nice sofas to sit and relax in anytime of the day if you have had enough of the sun but don't want to sit in your room. Music playing and you can have a few drinks. It's about 45 mins transfer by coach to airport. A personal thanks to the chef for such beautiful tasty food. Already looking to book for 2 weeks next May.

I really enjoyed my stay here for 7 nights. Rhodes is a small island which I thought perfect for a short-stay holiday and Lydia Maris had plenty of spark for me to enjoy my holiday there. Food options are great and local shops are nice too. My regards to Juliano and Vasilis who are the day and night pool bar staff have made my time there very enjoyable. I ran into no complications with any hotel staff and other guests. All of which were friendly to say on my part. The island has nice places and doesn't require too much driving for those looking to rent=a-car.

For us was second time visiting Lydia Maris. There is a significant upgrade to the restaurant. Pizza and souvlaki are the same , ok. Some of the rooms are renovated and the a**osphere is still quiet and family oriented. Rooms and areas are cleaned and decent. For us, is a value for money hotel
