Solemar Hotel

Lovely stay for a week with my wife recently. The hotel was clean with comfy beds and 3 pools to choose from. My favourite was the pool at the other side of the restaurant. We had no problem getting loungers there. The main pool does get quite busy. The staff were all fantastic and i’d like to give a special mention to Anita in the restaurant who greeted us every visit with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We also got a lunch to go when out on trips and our return home for the airport thanks to Anita. The food was delicious with a great selection in the restaurant and different themed nights every day. I’d also recommend the gyros snack bar up the stairs at the main pool too. The entertainment was good we particularly enjoyed the Greek night who had us up dancing with them. The hotel is close to some great sports bars and our favourite was Sebastians which we enjoyed to watch the football and a karaoke night. We paid 49 Euros on arrival at the hotel for the tax and beach towels are available for a 10 euro deposit but we took our own. The shuttle bus is 8 euro’s each return from the hotel to the town and you get dropped off at the marina. We enjoyed a great visit to Lindos which i would highly recommend. The beach is just across the road, pebbles though and there is a shop at the hotel for all your needs. It was a great relaxing week and just what we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel as well as our room was always kept clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Food was good and there was always a variety of choices. I would like to say a big thank you to Anita the restaurant manager who was always so attentive to everyone. The only downside was that our room was facing the main road and the noise kept us awake throughout the whole night.

Before my review - I want to thank all the staff at Oceanis park. My very special thanks again to these truly wonderful people - Lovely Anita, Antigone & Ixan, the main bar dynamic duo - Stamatis & Tsampikos, Theo, the solo star up in Greek corner, Namik, Asim and the pizza chef in the front/side pool snack bar, Nikolita behind reception, the incredible Carina from animation, and of course, you too, Mr Manager.. I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights last week with my mum, auntie, and 83 year old nanna, for my 30th birthday. We all had a lovely time and would stay here again - my lovelies Anita and Ixan - made my 30th birthday very special 🩷 Hotel was clean and tidy - as were our rooms. Throughout our stay. Any issue whatsoever, you just need to report it to, or call reception. It will be sorted out straight away. Food - We never had an issue with the food, it was nice, always plenty of options for both breakfast & dinner. My mum is a very fussy eater, but she too enjoyed the food, or always found something. My nanna and aunt loved it. For lunch I tended to go to the delicious Greek corner - theo the superstar, above the snack bar by the main pool for my lunch, whilst my nanna preferred the restaurant for lunch. Lovely snacks at both snack bars, especially the pizza at the front/side pool bar. Desserts were nice and different mix. I wasn’t a fan of the ice cream but my nan and aunt loved it .. Drinks - I found the all inclusive cocktails to be absolutely fine, good range/standard list, local equivalents to rum, gin and vodka were fine too), not sure what the previous reviews are about - premium brands and Prosecco are extra - always are. My mum said the beer was okay, the wine wasn’t a goer. Hotel provides everyone with a refillable bottle for their stay. There are 3 refillable water stations to the best of my knowledge, and the hotel tries its best to encourage recycling. Con - All inclusive does end at 11pm.. (However, there is a supermarket next door.. plus double deuce and other bars and restaurants within walking distance). Pools/loungers - Never had an issue getting a bed. Even when we got up late some days, ( latest being 9:30/10am), always found spares stacked up. Okay - might not be right by the pool but so what… there is the big main pool where animation and the kids pool are, plus another slimline pool, and another pool at the front/side which is quiet and lovely. All were always clean. And hotel allows inflatables which made a nice change. Massage tent - I had two massages - one with each lady, and my aunt and mum also had what they said were wonderful massages. Mine was divine and so badly needed, and spot on time wise. And more than reasonably priced. I received a delicious cake on my birthday, twice! From Anita in the restaurant - with a lovely birthday table for me/us, and in my room from Ixan. also - the hotel kindly let my mum decorate our 3/4 sunbeds with a banner and balloons on my 30th. The hotel is in a good location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It’s a 10 minute drive to Rhodes town. The staff are friendly and helpful, a special mention for Theodore in the Greek restaurant at lunch so friendly and went above and beyond to cater for us everyday. The hotel was busy and seemed a little overcrowded at times around pool and lobby in evening. Also the restaurant can get busy and hectic. The food is ok but can get repetitive so we ate out a few nights, we skipped breakfast as it wasn’t great. Hotel is newly refurbished so rooms are nice and clean. Overall a nice stay for the price, would recommend.

Very good food with different themes each night. Bar and waiting staff were very personable, attentive and accommodating. Anita in the restaurant was brilliant with assisting a member of our party with a severe nut allergy. Hotel is also extremely clean and well maintained.

Lovely room , fantastic food . Every night has a theme Italian , Chinese , Greek etc always so much choice . Only less than 10 minutes from Rhodes old town. Staff are fantastic . Anita the restaurant manager is the sweetest ever always made us smile and Antigoni works so hard ! The bar staff are great too ! 10/10 would recommend.

The Oceanis Park Hotel is a fabulous place to stay. Being only a short taxi/bus ride into Rhodes Town and only 20 minutes from the airport, its location is great. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all immaculately turned out and very helpful and friendly. Anita who ran the main restaurant was super friendly and very attentive and always welcomed us by name and with a beaming smile. The food was amazingly fresh and a varied menu was served throughout the day. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We had an absolutely fabulous stay!!

Absolutely fabulous hotel .Beautiful food. wonderful staff. spotlessly clean. Arrived home yesterday from this beautiful hotel and thoroughly recommend 100% we honestly loved every single minute. Thank you everyone at Oceanis Park 🫶🏼

We just got back from a 10 day stay and we loved every minute, the entertainment team are EVERYTHING, all 3 of them was so good (Corina, Dounia and raaf) constantly trying to get you involved in different activities such as darts, aqua-gym and stretching. They were constantly around the pool with smiles talking to you and making great conversation. Overall a fun perfect 3 all full of energy. The rooms were great, nice big bed and the room has great air con. The food was good. Each night there was a different variety. The food was fresh and always filled up. The staff in the canteen of the restaurant was amazing too. Always smiling and helped you to find a seat. The night entertainment was also great. There was different nights such as abba night, traditional Greek night, a show from uptown brothers (who were amazing) and many more. At night the entertainment team put on a great game of bingo with amazing prizes to win!!! Overall was a great holiday, nice room and amazing entertainment team. Love Macey and Ryan x
