Nice view but we visited at a bad time, the lake has no water. Delicious breakfast and good service.

We were there in Mar expecting very beautiful lake and mountains view, however being disappointed by the fact that it was their dry season. Overall experience with this home stay was good other than the location which is one hour away from the Qing Yuan city. The staff are nice and friendly.

The hotel has a restaurant, lunch and dinner can be ordered (average nightly dinner about RMB $ 300), good color, flavor and taste. The breakfast included in the hotel is also very rich. The surrounding environment is comfortable, full of mountains and water. And the hotel is equipped with outdoor facilities, you can barbecue, hot pot, tea around the stove (need +$50). As for the service, the two butlers at the front desk were very friendly and courteous, which is commendable. They are really very courteous, preparing fruit, tea, snacks every day. But the location is really quite remote, it takes 3 hours to drive from Shenzhen to get there.

The room has two bedrooms and one living room, a first-line lake view, and very good privacy. No need to go to the farmhouse, the kitchen products are good. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. No matter where you sit in the garden, tea and snacks will be served immediately, and gifts will be given when you leave.

The view is unbeatable, facing Taohua Lake, the pool on the balcony is very comfortable, the landscaping in the homestay is elegant, there are free drinks in the room every day, smart toilets, breakfast milk and yogurt are from Sam's, there are delicious sweet potatoes and taro, and you can drink freshly ground coffee☕️, you can wash and dry clothes, the service is very good. In the middle of the night, the child was hungry, and the boss happened to roast sweet potatoes and gave them to us to eat😋In short, it was an unexpected stay. Five-star recommendation.

The scenery was beautiful, but unfortunately the water level was a little low. It might be better in summer. The farmhouse dishes were generous in size. We ordered a chicken and vegetables on the first night. The mother and daughter didn't eat much, but they finished the vegetables and only ate half of the rice cooker chicken. So we only ordered vegetarian dishes on the second night. It's suitable for emptying yourself and being in a daze. Very good.
