Upon checking in, there was an English speaking guy who took me to the counter and made sure I was helped out properly. Since the front desk person didn’t speak English, the first guy stayed by my side until my check in was complete; he was very helpful and the check-in was very quick. Most of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
In terms of dining and entertainment, the hotel has a decent location. There are plenty of convenience shops around along with some smaller restaurants; Knuckles bar happens to be just a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
The room was quite spacious with a panoramic view of the city on the 33rd floor. Once I returned to my room, this view made it a very serene night. It was so much easier to unwind.
Unfortunately, there was construction going on across the street in the morning. That night was my birthday and stayed out late celebrating with friends; I planned to sleep in that morning but this was just impossible. The afore mentioned construction was EXTREMELY loud, which made it very hard to even want to stay in the room. I picked up my belongings and left the room as soon as I could. The noise generated by the construction is certainly not the hotel’s fault but I would definitely not stay there knowing there is such horrible noise affecting the property.
