Relaxia Lanzaplaya

Wonderful hotel! It was our second time visiting. I had a separate appartement from my parents. I'm a wheelchair user and this hotel is very wheelchair friendly. The disability rooms are very close near the pools, the restaurant and the elevator that goes to the reception. The staf are all super helpful! The first day we noticed that my new wheelchair doesn't fit underneath the tables of the restaurant any more. Having to lean forward caused me too much pain, so we asked for help from the restaurant manager (Abdel?) and we're able to solve the problem by extending the table with a large tray every time. He also let my mother take food for me to my room when I was bedbound due to a bad chronic illness day. Always asked how I was doing and if he could help me with something when he saw me. The rest of the restaurant staf is also very friendly and they are always working hard to make sure everyone has a good experience! Food was nice and they had theme nights like American night, asian night, Mexican night,.... Only thing that really could be better is the ice cream. It's always melted. Even when it comes straight from the kitchen, it's already soft. The animator Alex was incredible at making sure he learned to know most guests. Even knew almost everyone by name! He's very enthusiastic and energetic, which is needed. There are young people in the hotel, but especially outside of school holidays, the demographic is a little older and not always easy to get them to join the animation activities. But Alex was very good at this! The bar was also much more popular in the evening than when I first visited this hotel and this is again because of Alex his animation at the bar at night. He speaks multiple languages and clearly tries to learn more about the languages he doesn't speak easily and there music taste/culture. He goes above and beyond and was even often entertaining people outside of his working hours. The hotel is just 2 streets from the promenade with lots of shops, cafés and bars, which have very reasonable prices. And there are 2 supermarkets where you can easily buy everything you need if you didn't book all inclusive. We were a bit unlucky this year because the hotel airco broke the day before we arrived. Because the hotel is in an island, it was gonna take multiple days for replacement pieces to arrive. We always make sure to book an hotel with airco since I can't sleep in the heat and I need a lot of sleep because of my chronic illness. So it was a bummer that it didn't work this time (it is fixed now), but the hotel staff off course couldn't be blamed for this. They and the owner offert to move us to another hotel, but because I need the accessibility, that wasn't an option for me. So in stead the were very kind to upgrade my parents and I as a compensation and the owner had bought a ventilator for my room so I could sleep, which was incredibly kind and helpful. . Yet another amazing stay in this hotel even though this time was a bit more challenging without Aircon but people blaming and shout at staff is wrong, stayed with these a few times and the staff are THE BEST we’ve had abroad, was upgraded to half board from B&B because of the issues which the hotel didn’t have to do but they did. We were all effected by the Aircon including the poor staff who had to work in them conditions, the staff couldn’t have done anymore. We love this hotel it’s clean, beds are awesome, the location is brilliant and Alex is amazing with guests a real credit to the hotel. We come to Lanzarote every year and every year we stay here. I slightly agree with some comments that Pedra(I think that’s her name) is slightly harder to get on with compared to other reception staff. We asked for late check out cause of late flights but the hotel was full so we had access to a shower room which is amazing to get us freshly cleaned up for our flight. Overall even with issues 5 out of 5 stay and booked back up for May 2025

We have just returned from a three week stay at relaxia lanzaplaya. We had a lovely time its a very relaxing place to stay... staff are amazing especially alex the activities always smiling and laughing with everyone a credit to the hotel also the gentleman who served at the pool bar was very happy and polite.. We stayed all inclusive and the food was really good no complaints at all... The hotel is handy for the beach and bars... I only had one issue with the hotel... i personally think they should have a staff member at the entrance to the restaurant checking wristbands.. On numerous occasions I seen people with no wristbands going in plating up food and taking outside to eat at the poolside...Apart from that one issue i definitely would still recommend the relaxia lanzaplaya to family and friends

I have to say this hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in over the years. Check in was quick and efficient, we were late arriving but the staff had plated up some food for us. The room was clean, big and perfect location for us. There were great kitchen facilities if needed. The pool area was great, plenty of beds (never once had a problem getting a bed). The pool is freezing but we still went in often. We have to give a shout out to Alex the animation man who was excellent! He was great with the children round the pool often being silly in the pool making them laugh. He did fun dances and night entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the movie quiz. The times for food were perfect throughout the day. The pool bar served hot dogs/burgers and chips plus a few other things. The restaurant had some of the best AI food we’ve had, there was always something to choose from even for the pickiest of eaters. The only thing I thought would improve would have been to have a ‘kids’ section with chicken nuggets/hot dogs etc for those children who need ‘safe’ foods. The hotel is in a prefect location, 2 mins to a supermarket, bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff were all helpful, friendly and very hardworking!

Wonderful hotel with large 1 bedroom apartment rooms. Very clean. Very friendly staff and food is amazing. Alex the animation guy made our holiday. He was so funny and entertained the whole pool area in his own. We actually belly laughed at him everyday.

Clean and basic accommodation with lovely staff, and excellent location. Stayed here end of June 2024 for 2 weeks, with my husband and toddler son. Shame we were put in an apartment up steps but we knew on booking this could be the case. Had a room with a terrace but was not enclosed and so due to all the steps we couldn’t use it. Food was good, lots of choice and the various meats and fish were always cooked perfectly. We did try a couple of cocktails from the pool bar - they were ok but as someone who likes a cocktail I wouldn’t recommend. Pools were great, one was heated for a few days but guessing come 1st just that was turned off but didn’t deter people from using it. Didn’t partake in any entertainment except on our last day I did the sangria making - would definitely recommend you taking part, was great fun and lots of laughs! Excellent location to the main strip and Beach, where you’ll find shops, supermarkets and restaurants for all tastes. Our first family holiday and although a very different holiday to what we were used to, we had a great time. Would we return here? Absolutely, and would recommend to others to come here too.
