Grande Baia Resort & Spa

Hôtel surprenant qui ressemble beaucoup à un camping de luxe. Il est très retiré et rien n'est à proximité. Heureusement que cet établissement propose de tout (glaces, bar, muscu, plage, piscine, spa...). Cependant la piscine était très froide car non chauffée et le restaurant à volonté trop chère pour la qualité du repas. Séjour agréable et endroits à découvrir.

Review of Grande Baia Resort & Spa I recently enjoyed a flying four-day visit to Grande Baia Resort & Spa, and what a wonderful experience it was. I stayed in an apar**ent (11-1), located in a quiet area just off the main hub. The apar**ent was spacious, clean, and peaceful, equipped with all essential modern conveniences. It was within easy walking distance to both the main complex and the beach. Visiting in May proved to be the perfect balance of warm weather without the crowds, giving a real feeling of space. There was never an issue getting a sunbed by the pool or on the beach. The stunning Sardinian sea never disappoints, with the beautiful view of Isola Tavolare across the water adding to the charm. I used the rattling shuttle bus once or twice but mostly enjoyed the short walk through the lush flora. The scent of jasmine and mirto in the air was delightful! The reception team, especially Maria and the half Sarda/British lady whose name I didn't catch (apologies), were wonderful. They were always happy to help and genuinely cared about my experience. Massimo and his team in the restaurant were also faultless, and the bar team, lifeguards, and pool staff all had a great attitude. Perhaps it’s because it was early in the season, but I'd like to think that's just how they are. Last but not least, I squeezed in a visit to the spa on the last morning and had the whole place to myself. What’s not to love? Thank you to the spa team! I would definitely stay here again, though perhaps not during peak season :) Thank you, Grande Baia Resort & Spa, for a memorable stay!

We stayed in may. The beach bar pizza place wasn’t open. We were off season so understandable. We stayed in a villa which is genuinely lovely. The shuttle service to town wasn’t as regular as could be with no evening service just costly taxis. You need a car as getting about is tricky without one. We walked 6 miles one day to get some essentials. Evening meal buffet was not for me. Very little left as people pile their plates. Wine and drinks also extra on top of price. We stayed room only so only had dinner one night in the restaurant. I would stay again but I would hire a car or bike as without it you are limited. Mistake on my part.

We have just come back from a six day stay at Grande Baia Resort & Spa which I have to say was amazing. Our apr**ent was huge, comfortable and clean. They had everything you needed. The only time you see a lot of people was at breakfast and dinner and even then the eating areas were comfortable and the food was tasty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The grounds were clean and tidy and someone was on hand when ever we needed them. I would highly recommend this holiday resort. Their beach was amazing too!

As usual ignore the doomsday reviews as this place is good value for what you get and the people complaining of rude staff probably find rude people everywhere they go.. Location is beautiful and you can walk to the beach in 10 mins or take the regular shuttle. From there you can walk to a local complex which has a shop and decent cafe. The shop within the hotel is expensive b ut then you are paying for convenience. Sure the pool bar isn't speedy but the food is decent and the prices aren't as hiked as in the shop. If Street clear of the food from the beach shall tho. All the staff, with the exception of one rather grumpy manager in the restaurant (been in the job too long?!), were excellent. Even the animation team were fine ie not intrusive to me not doing animation stuff!! Food is the thing most negative reviews mention. If you don't like buffets and you want to show the world how gastronomic your tastes are... Don't go to a hotel where the meals are buffet. Choices for vegetarians are limited and the menu is repeated every 7 days but the quality is good

Nice room with a lovely little beach nearby. Lovely pool with snacks and ice-cream to die for. You will definitely need a car It's a bit out of the way. Breakfast and evening meals were great with quality food provided. Loads of choice.

Really nice time, great location, very nice staff. Shuttle to the beach, thats really a good option for some. Beautiful beaches nerby. The facilities of the resort are satisfaying too. The reception and breakfast staff 5/5. Just one thing for the minus - no room service, cleaning :(

Large, resort where you are just another random guest. Everything was below average to average. The food was extremely disappointing especially at the paid restaurant. I would say a car is a must because of the isolation of the resort and the must see beaches/restaurants/towns around. Issues with spiders in the room, patchy wifi in common areas, and hot water. Private beach and location to the islands are the best attributes.

The staff were friendly & helpful. On arrival at the resort we were escorted to our bungalow and showed around (2 of us were given a clean and spacious bungalow with our own garden which could accommodate 4) - we were delighted with it. All of the bungalows have their own garden part - we were lucky to be on the end so was very private. The surrounding areas were well cared for and all the trees/foliage were beautiful, we couldn't fault it. Loved the private beach but do go off-peak season as you can only visit once every two days in peak season. This is due to the marine conservation and ensuring the beaches and environmental impact of humans is minimal. Loved the resident cats (disappointed we didn't see any wild boar who were rumored to be snuffling around!) Facilities perfectly fine, although would have been nice to have a kettle & maybe one pint of milk left in the fridge for coffee/tea. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, vast selection of super-fresh fruit/produce/cheese/hams etc. and all the usual cereals and hot food if wanted. Deliciously decadent pastries! Evening buffet more basic but satisfactory. Do go a la Carte if you wan to dress for dinner. We loved the remote location although you are limited for off-site excursions unless you can drive as the pick up point for these was a way from the resort and the hotel do not offer a shuttlebus for most of the boat trips. It was extremely peaceful and restful, we personally loved it - a definite if you love nature. Not a place to go if you want a busy nightlife!
