I have been traveling to TCI for 15 years, this was my second stay at villa Renaissance. I was at the resort for an extended stay, three weeks. The property is in a perfect location, in the center of the hub, walkable to most restaurants and shopping. I did, however, rent a car, to be able to visit restaurants in other neighborhoods. If you are not interested in doing so you definitely could stay here without renting a car. On arrival I was greeted by Sandeep, offered a welcome rum punch (or 2!). He is an absolute gentleman and a wonderful host. Every time we saw each other for three weeks, he greeted me by name and asked me how I was. The room was ready when I arrived, around 230pm, and I was quickly brought to it by Brickell, who is equally wonderful. I stayed in unit 203, which is a two bedroom, 2 bath, Beach front unit, it has a fully furnished balcony, with unobstructed views of Grace bay. It is absolutely beautiful in every way, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. Both bedrooms have king beds. The unit does have a washer and dryer, which is amazingly helpful. I believe there is a pull out sofa in the living room, but I did not try it, or look at it very closely. Housekeeping was amazing and kept the room is very clean. There is a gym on site, but very limited and small. There are also tennis courts and a mobile pickle ball net. The beach is amazing in front of Villa Renaissance, wide, quiet, perfectly soft, white sand, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. No need to get up early and save one. One suggestion for management would be to set up multiple rows of lounge chairs to avoid having one long row along the dunes. At times, you will end up sitting next to people, that you do not know, no more than 6 inches away. If they set up multiple rows along grace bay, and space out the chairs into groupings , this would avoid the problem. The hotel does provide fresh towels for the beach or pool that you can just grab and take. The only massive problem with this complex is blue lounge, (they provide the on property food and beverage, which is good ) who’s main location is in the square, a hundred yards from the front gate, they play VERY loud music on certain nights until 230 or 3:00AM. I was there so long it’s hard to say exactly which nights it was, but I’m gonna say it was every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. When I say loud, I cannot stress enough how loud it is. It would be virtually impossible to sleep through it. The oddest part of this is that blue lounge seems to be completely empty at these hours, but they’re pumping the music anyway. Just odd. The complex does have a security guard on premises at night, which is nice to see. Overall, I would 100% recommend Villa Renaissance and I will stay there again in the future. I think it’s an amazing complex in an amazing location. While not a “resort”, more of a luxury condo complex, allowing you to be on Grace
