Red Lion Hotel

Cosy hotel in a fantastic location. We loved our stay here. Our room was big, comfy and had a fantastic original ceiling. The views from the window on to Nerudova street were also great. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The hotel is moments walk from the castle and yet is calm and quiet during the night. The bottle of wine in the room was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend for those who want an authentic and comfortable stay in Prague.

Just returned from a four night stay! The room, 11, overlooking the street with three windows is superbly furnished with old fashioned furniture painted, open beams, two really comfortable chairs, tea and coffee stuff, blackout curtains and an excellent modern bathroom. The breakfast buffet in the neighbouring Golden Star Hotel who manage it was excellent! Housekeeping brilliant and all at a good price! It is where you want to come back to flop after days round the city!! The Golden Star restaurant is good for an evening meal on the terrace!

We booked a Junior Suite for 180 EUR per night. Due to illness, we contacted hotel and tried to change the date of the reservation, but the hotel was arrogant to our request and refused any change. They withdrew the whole amount as a "no show" fee. The approach of the lady at the reception was absolutely unacceptable, when I asked her if they were interested in resolving the situation she literally replied "that's your business". I will be taking the matter to court.
