I chose this hotel because it was brand new, and I was pretty sure I would not have issues with the rooms and the cleanliness. It did. not disappoint. The hotel is located behind the mall, and the Kaiser facility is close to the 680 highway. Parking is shared with another Marriott property in the same parking lot. When I entered the hotel, there was no one at the desk, but a staff member appeared as soon as I stood at the desk. She was pleasant and warm. The room looked new and modern, It felt like I was walking into a studio apartment with a galley kitchen living room, and beds. The bathrooms were fine and the rooms were bright and airy with plenty of natural light. Breakfast in the morning was pretty abysmal and it had become clear to me that the hotel was short-staffed. Most of the items were out and there was no one there to refill them. I had also noticed that there was rarely anyone manning the front desk. I don't know if it is because the hotel is new and they are still gaining their footing. The lack of staff did not negatively impact my visit other than the breakfast. There were several traveling youth teams in the hotel that completely took over the outside areas every evening so I was unable to explore that area.
