Labranda Bronze Playa

We have just returned from a ten-day holiday to Playa Del Ingles, Gran Canaria, staying at the Labranda Bronze Playa hotel. This was our third time staying at the Bronze Playa hotel but the first time on holiday since my recent diagnosis of having coeliac disease. I was a little anxious beforehand about what food would be available for me at the hotel and if I would have any adverse reaction. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Fabienne in particular, Guest Relations Manager, was extremely helpful. Meeting me on arrival, Fabienne advised on what the hotel could offer for my gluten free diet, introduced me to their chefs and regularly caught up with me throughout our stay to find out how I was and if there was anything I needed. Over the course of our 10 days stay I enjoyed gluten free pizza, pasta, croissants and there was gluten free bread available at breakfast. There was a great selection of other food on offer from the self-service buffet and always lots of fresh fruit, salad and vegetables to choose from. The hot counters also had a wide selection of fish, chicken and other meats to eat to enjoy. I mostly had a cooked breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and beans followed by fruit and natural yoghurt. Most of the cooked dishes are allergy labelled and advice is always on hand. I had no adverse reaction to any of the extensive range of food I enjoyed at the hotel and would definitely have no hesitation in staying again. The service at the Bronze Playa is first class. Rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. All reception, bar, restaurant, and housekeeping staff are approachable, friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring your focus can be on relaxation. There are plenty of sunbeds around the very well looked after garden and swimming pool areas. We heard that the hotel is changing ownership in June 2024 and possibly changing its name. I would like to send my thanks and best wishes for the future to the staff at the Bronze Playa. The staff all work very hard and once again made our holiday one to remember for all the right reasons.

This is our 6th or 7th stay at Playa Bronze, the staff are welcoming, helpful and always happy. The rooms are clean and house keeping is spot on, the grounds are also well maintained. The food is always lovely a huge range of fresh vegetables/salad and fruit, always a choice of fish or meat, or just pizza. Always a space around the pool, on a lounger or at a table. Entertainment is ok. Would definitely recommend to anyone a stay here. Won't go anywhere else as to me this hotel ticks all our boxes!! See you again very soon.

Everything about this hotel was perfect The food was good plenty of choice drinks were perfect and the cocktails were made as they should be in a shaker . The hotel is close to everywhere and plenty of choice walks around the area and wow a market on a Wednesday and Saturday right outside the hotel . The hotel is spotlessly clean no everything is cleared away efficiently all the staff do a fantastic job to keep the standards so high ... I can't wait to return

Well maintained hotel with all facilities needed to make the stay enjoyable. Support staff like RAMIRO able to assist and help with all traveler's needs. Highly recommend the place for its facilities, food and location.

The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing with variety of salads and different fish and meats everyday. The room was cleaned everyday. The staff is very friendly and always greet with a smile. The location is perfect close to all the bus stops, short walk to beach and supermarkets too. Will definitely be coming back with friends in the future.

All in all a really good Hotel with some issues. The rooms are super big and clean and all is working as it should. Only the shower is Bad. Its not possible to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom.... The food is always really good the only problem was the lackluster selection sometimes. Also its really sad If food is offered only one time and If u dont come super early u just dont get it at the buffet. For example watermelon was only available in the first like 60mins of the buffet The pool area is great and there is enough shadow to not get roasted all day. The biggest problem was the music and the party in the evening. Sleeping before 11.30pm was nearly Impossible because it was way to loud sadly... So If u want to get some real rest there is no chance. Party till midnight and at 6.30 am the tables get draged all over the place at the breakfast The staff If super kind and does a great Job.

Hotel is stuck in the '90. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms from the photos are definitly from another movie. They use the photos of the modern bathrooms but you'll get a windowless one for sure. The furniture and bed covers are also worn out and stained. Wouldn t recommend this hotel at all.

Lovely hotel well situated, a short walk to the sea front where you can get a lift down to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance All staff at the hotel are really helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. The staff on reception are very knowledgeable and will help you in any way they can The food is excellent, there is always something for everyone, the pool area and bar very clean with sun-beds always available

This is a fabulous hotel. The moment you walk through the door you are welcomed with a warm reception and a complimentary drink. Arrived late evening the restaurant had saved us a light meal. All inclusive breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks plenty of choice for all dietary requirements. Rooms very clean ,comfortable beds , and spacious living room. Swimming pool area very well kept, plenty of sunbeds in the garden. Bar , restaurant, and house keeping staff very friendly with excellent service. Looking forward to returning some time.
