I have been here many times and it’s always great . Everyone works hard to make your stay unforgettable. Lots of wildlife including monkeys, coatis and zerekes. Fortunately, there is no sargasso and the water is crystal clear , warm and calm. It is only 4-5 feet deep at its deepest.

From checkin with Christian , to check out with Danial , everything was great. Room is clean and in good condition. Went to all restaurants including the buffet, and found them all delicious. Staff in every department ( room service, entertainment, restaurants, etc.) we’re all friendly and helpful . Property is beautiful with stunning ocean views . Located in a private community with a small shopping area .

The front desk staff was very helpful, they ended up upgrading all of us (5 rooms) to Riu Plaza. That place was luxurious. We had lunch at Yucatan while we waited. It was loud, crowded and the staff was not able to keep on top of clearing and cleaning at the buffet.

Loved the wildlife ( monkeys, agoutis, coutis, lizards and even outdoor cats). Staff members were very friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Loco at the front desk! Great beach and pools! Open loungers were sometimes hard to find. Food was good and there was great variety.

Our second time at a Riu in the area and we loved it. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities were very nice, food was good quality and plentiful, beach and pool area spectacular. Activities and evening program also very well done. Kids already begging to go back. We were two parents and 4 teenagers.

I was very impressed with the Fitness and Entertainment crews. Especially Gustavo who is the leader of the Fitness team. They were politely engaging with the guests and created a very positive and pleasant atmosphere. I definitely will recommend this property to my family and friends.

Went on a girls trip with my mom and we had the best time. Lots of wonderful entertainment all day long by the pool and at night. The food was great and the drinks were wonderful. The staff was very nice. The rooms were a tad outdated, but they did a very good job of keeping them clean.

The food and the beach were great. The grounds staff, actually ALL of the staff were amazing. The rooms are very basic, just okay but the other things help make up for it.
