Isabella Boutique Hotel effortlessly blends urban convenience with serene tranquility. From the moment we arrived, the warm ambiance and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Nestled away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet conveniently located, it offered the perfect retreat. The highlight of my stay was the delightful communal barbecue evening, where guests bonded over shared stories and laughter. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful in arranging tours and activities for us during our stay. Their expertise and attention to detail made it easy for us to explore the city and experience everything it had to offer. It contributed to making our stay even more memorable and seamless. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Absolutely NOTHING like the pictures. The place is very dirty and falling apart. There was a dead mouse on the path to our room that no one took care to clean up. The staff were somewhat pleasant (seemed insincere) but unhelpful. It was outrageously expensive given how disgusting it was!

I picked this hotel for my first two nights in Playa and wasn't sure what to expect. But from arrival, it presented as a picturesque, backpacker style hotel right beside, if not on the beach. The room I stayed in was a cute stone cabana with all the amenities I needed. The grounds were full of greenery and giant iguanas that I loved to watch when they emerged like tiny dragons to guard the pool area. The only critique is that there never seemed to be anyone around. In the two days I stayed there, I barely saw anyone else, let alone another guest. Most backpacker hotels generate a good crowd in the common areas. People chill, drink together and swap stories of a life on the road or the newest destination. That was absent here. There was even a bar area but I never saw anyone working there and was never told if they even sold anything. But that aside, it was a great start to a lovely trip and a good value for the price. The breakfast isn't included but it's a nice light spread of coffee, toast and bright orange melon with seeds and honey speckled overtop. Tomi at the front desk was also very friendly and welcoming and their transport service worked perfectly.

NE SURTOUT PAS SE RENDRE DANS CET HÔTEL A notre arrivée, toutes les chambres étaient grandes ouvertes et non occupées, chambres bien AÉRÉES : nous savons pourquoi maintenant. A première vue, belle entrée puis nous avançons jusqu'à la piscine, pas entretenue, à moitié remplie, le contour de la piscine est pitoyable, les transats abîmés, ... Ensuite, arrivons jusqu'à la chambre : - Pas de chasse d'eau à notre arrivée (indiqué à l’accueil, réparée puis de nouveau hors-service) ; - Pas d'eau chaude (JAMAIS, malgré le signalement) ; - Linge déchiré, tâché, troué, effiloché ; - ENDROIT TRÈS SALE (problème RESPIRATOIRE dû sans doute à l’insalubrité, j'ai toussé, eu mal à la gorge et aux poumons toute la nuit et une partie de la journée du lendemain) ; - TRÈS VÉTUSTE (ils ont repeint le sol et ont contourné les lits) ; - La vitre de la fenêtre est opaque tellement qu'elle est sale ; - On n'a voulu faire fonctionner la clim mais de très mauvaises odeurs en sont sorties ; - Juste un petit rideau devant la fenêtre, pas de rideau occultant ; - Porte de la sdb pourrie ; - Cadre de lit plein de poussières, de saletés, les draps troués, ... Bien évidemment nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner, vu l'état des chambres. Nous devions faire 3 nuits, nous sommes parties après la 1ère nuit, nous coûtant ainsi 2 nuits d'hôtel supplémentaire. La réceptionniste nous a donné le numéro du responsable que nous avons contacté, à ce jour (depuis 6 jours), nous sommes sans réponse de sa part.

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel experience, this is not it. Isabella is a cute little boutique hotel, just steps from the beach and minutes to all the restaurants and stores on Quinta Avenida. They offer free breakfast (fruit, toast, coffee, eggs) and a nice pool to cool off in the hot afternoons. The service wasn't all that great and there were items on their lunch menu that they often couldn't prepare because they didn't have the ingredients. Housekeeping cleaned our room every other day. The floor to our room always felt dirty, even when we kept our shoes outside and went barefoot in the room. I would say, if you are simply looking for a place to sleep and shower, this is more than adequate.

Isabel Boutique es un confortable y precioso hotel en el centro de Playa, comodo, limpio, tranquilo ( no hay ruidos de la calle) a dos cuadras de la 5 avenida a media cuadra del mar, personal profesional y amable y con precios mas que razonables!!!!!! No se puede pedir mas.... Super recomendado.

El peor lugar donde me he hospedado en toda mi vida !! No vale la pena que esté a una cuadra Del Mar si el lugar está en pésimas condiciones, al entrar a la habitación nos recibió una cucharada voladora dentro !!! Y a la mañana siguiente tenía que irme temprano Y NO HABÍA AGUA ! Baje a decirle al recepcionista sobre la cucaracha una noche antes y ahora sin agua y el tipo se portó nefasto, grosero y como que le valió argumentando “Pues es Plasha del Carmen” Y ESO QUE ! Las camas incomodisimas, las almohadas ni se diga, en los baños no ofrecen absolutamente nada de limpieza personal, lugar sucio, pequeño, HORRIBLE !

Falta de mantenimiento. El wifi no funcionaba en la habitación de Plata alta. El llamado “penthouse” no tenía tapa de inodoro, la ventana junto a la cama estaba rota y no tenía acolchados en algunas de las camas. Las vigas tienen 1.80 m de altura, hay que agacharse para pasar. El bungalow tenía cucarachas y se cortaba el agua a diario. La persona de la recepción sólo estuvo un día e hizo oídos sordos a nuestros reclamos. El exterior y la pileta muy descuidados. Lamentable experiencia!
