The pool isn’t as big as it’s made out the rooms isn’t very clean atall and the staff are extremely rude and the cleaner pinched my little boys swimming float someone in the hotel seen her pick it up and I asked and they didn’t know all was shrugging their shoulders. They ask for a 150€ deposit which we got back but they did not want to give it back they tried saying it hasn’t been checked when we was there when the woman checked it. We didn’t have a cleaner for the duration we stayed there, no clean towels or bedding. I definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Booked one week here from 3rd to 10th January. Paid €1100 for 2 of us. Booked very last minute and this was a very busy time so I guess I got one of the worst apartments. It was at the back and got no sun at all, it was so dark we had to have the lights on all the time. Initially the apartment seemed clean however when I opened the shower there was an old bar of soap on the tap and it was dirty, it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. I had left my handbag in the room because I didn't want to bring it out and risk it getting stolen unfortuntely I had €300 cash in my bag which went missing. My friend who speaks spanish spoke with the Receptionist and told her. Her reaction was sympathetic and helpful but she also expressed that she was shocked and told my friend that they have never ever had a complaint from anyone else about anything being stolen from the rooms. I am now reading previous reviews and I see that this has happened to other people, therefore management are well aware of the problem. I know I should have rented the safety deposit box but having stayed in alot of hotels in Spain I have never been burned like this. Similarily I have stayed in one star hotels in Spain that are spotlessly clean unlike here. The cleaning is very hit and miss, it's not the cleaners fault, I saw some work very hard. But I also saw a cleaning supervisor dressed in Brown doing very little. If she did her job she would have noticed that the shower in my apartment wasn't cleaned. Also the management are doing nothing to maintain the apartments. Legs of kitchen table loose, table wobbly, floors have been damaged by leaking shower and air con units, vents are full of dust and broken, showerhead in my apartment broken, cigarette burns in the artifical grass. Nothing seems to be maintained. These apartments have great potential because they are in a great location and are very modern, it's just a pity that the Management do not address the problems. Generally in Spain and the Canary Islands accommodation is always up to standard and I've never come across accommodation like this that was not clean...Very Disappointing

Avoid this hotel at all cost- me and my three friends spent a week here, from the start it was chaos we were stood at reception waiting for staff to check us in, we waited half an hour so I had to walk the corridors to find someone & the only person I could find was a life guard, there was a hidden deposit of 400 euros which we was not made aware of, we unpacked our bags and went out, we were out for no more than 50 minutes when we returned my friends bag had been ransacked and 800 euros were taken, when we went to reception they said there was nothing they could do, that it wasn’t here problem and to ring the police, I asked if there was any cameras as we were sure we knew which staff member had been in our room, they said they didn’t have any. I asked for our 400 euro deposit back as they had now left 4 girls with hardly any money. The manager refused to speak to us but eventually we did get the deposit back. The rooms were dirty, the shower leaked all over the floor and our pull out bed was full of crumbs, from previous guests, each morning we were woken up by banging and shouting and one night we were woken up by someone booting the door and swearing in a foreign language. This was very scary and I would never return.

Having a wonderful time here at the Agra Barranco x lovely well equipped apartment x comfy bed x gorgeous fluffy towels x and the staff are so very nice and friendly on reception x also the cleaning ladies are very thorough too x will definitely be coming her again with my husband x we love it xxxx Thankyou Agria Barranco 💕

Worst hotel i have ever been too, they dont clean our rooms, they make us take the trash out if we want our deposits back, when we came the first thing we saw was cockroaches in the bathroom. We are never going back to this place ever again. DONT STAY AT ALLEGRIA BARRANCO

Hidden €300 deposit, didn’t give us back €250 of it and they couldn’t speak English and wouldn’t tell us why. Our room was left how we found it; shoe marks all over the walls, hairs on the floor, air conditioning that leaked water everywhere, could go on for awhile. Non existent swimming pool but no problem with that as we knew that.
