"This concept and location has so much potential but failed miserably on execution. First, our room did not have working heat. We arrived late at 9PM and were given a space heater to use until the next day—which was unacceptable in 40-degree Pittsburgh weather. Additionally, the shower pull up valve did not work properly and had to be rigged, the drain worked very slowly causing water to pool in the tub, and the water got cold very quickly. We were told a maintenance person would arrive the next morning but they never showed up. Thankfully, we were able to move rooms where the heat and shower worked properly but there were no blinds on the bedroom window. Exhausted from the cold night before, we decided to stick it out and were thankful for the warm room and working shower. The rest of the stay was uneventful. However, there was poor communication throughout. First, the automatic welcome email instructed us to stop at the front desk for a key but the rooms were keyless. The front desk attendant was short with me and seemed annoyed that we stopped there, despite the instructions. Additionally, I received three different emails with updated entry codes and room numbers. Finally, the automatic check out email cane back to me as undeliverable. There were bright spots during the stay, including clean, well-appointed rooms and 2/3 helpful front desk attendants. But I simply can’t recommend this place. I would request a refund if I thought the company would be responsive or cared."

"We checked in pretty late. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom. We asked the front desk for more towels because we were out all day and I needed to take my kids a bath, but was Informed that we had to wait for 45min to an hour because they did not have any clean towels. Even though I booked the room for my 3 kids and I. Then we noticed the bathtub. The bathroom was dirty. It literally had hair in the tub and brownish stein from the mold that wasn’t cleaned. The front desk offered us another room right next to us to literally take a shower. But it was also dirty. Idk I have never stayed at a hotel with these bad steins before. Is that the new normal? The only thing they could offer was free breakfast even though we had already with our reservation. Never booking again."

"The check in front desk service was very friendly and knowledgeable! The hotel was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower got hot and steamy! The bathroom products like soap, lotion and etc smelled nice and refreshing! We overslept so we missed breakfast but the breakfast aroma lingered throughout the lobby and was pleasant. Nice & clean overall!"
