Ulasan Sunset Beach Resort and Spa

I didn’t find the reception staff very helpful. I booked for two nights and then decided to stay a little bit longer so I made a new booking. They decided to move me into a room overlooking a garbage tip probably one of the worst rooms but yet when I went back on the app, they were still selling the room what I was originally in so I don’t know why they just didn’t leave me in that room. The breakfast in the morning is it and miss it’s a buffet, but all things are empty every morning. There is no service. Your plates are still on the table when you leave. It’s clear to see there are a lot of empty rooms but yet instead of looking after the guests, who are there, they put them in rooms overlooking a garbage tip. I won’t be back.

Overall very satisfied, particularly liked the location with direct access to the beach. It's close to all other shops and restaurants. The staff are nice and friendly.

Good facilities. Seaview rooms are great. Pool and beach next to each other.  Breakfast balcony very nice. Aircon in rooms work very well. Towels at reception. It shares the sunset bar and so there are people from other hotels sharing the space a bit.

The room was spotless. Watching the sun set over the ocean was a highlight of my stay—it was simply stunning! The hotel’s location, right on the beach, made it easy to enjoy the sea anytime I wanted. Dining at the on-site restaurant was also a treat.

The resort and spa has good service and hospitality. Totally recommend it!

Nice hotel right next to the beach. Breakfast was great as well along with the service. The hotel bought me a chocolate cake for my birthday. Highly recommended.

I liked the location, and even though it wasn't very new, the view was wonderful! Service was great and you can also book ahead for airport pick up!

What a nice hotel with spa, 2 swimming pools (1 inside on the 2d floor, 1 outside with a great sea view), bar and restaurant on the beach, motorbike rental (150k per 24 hours), wonderful staff always ready to help you. The room was more than perfect, a sea view with magnificent sunsets everyday, even while taking a bath (because it's in front of the huge window). The cosiest bed with soft pillows, big bathroom with two basins, a safety box, wardrobe, a coffee table, armchair, a fridge and a big mirror. Breakfast was good, with various dishes of different cuisines (eggs, noodles, spaghetti, soups, potatoes, meat of different kinds such as sausage, bacon, stew beef, chicken legs and wings, pastry, fruits, salads, coffee, tea, juice, yoghurt, bread). In the evening you can have dinner with various drinks in the bar-restaraunt on the beach(prices a little bit high, but the location is worth it). You can have dinner close to the hotel, as there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. You definitely must try smoked duck in NGOC QUI restaurant, if you towards main street, you should turn on the right. The staff is very friendly, they served welcome and farewell drinks, they helped us to get back to the airport for free with the comfy transfer van. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I have a chance to travel to Phu Quoc again. The only one thing we were disappointed with was the quantity of guests and their behavior. There are not enough sunbeds on the beach and swimming pool area for all the guests of a hotel, and they woke up early in the morning, put their towels on the sunbeds and went to do their morning things (get dressed, have breakfast, etc). That's not polite, because if someone comes to the beach, they can see occupied sunbeds with no people on them, that's not fair. Probably the manager of the hotel can figure it out and create an amazing idea how to solve this during high season 🌞 I wish you all the best and want to thank you for the best holiday!!!

the hotel has had its share. The fact that it has 4* does not correspond at all. The room is nice, spacious, the beds are hard, the walls are dirty. Only the view was worth 4*. The neighbors changed every day, they were very noisy. The clientele was mainly Asian and the culture of these would-be travelers is at the level of monkeys. Another clientele were Poles...at 6.30 they put towels on the sunbeds and didn't come until the afternoon. He never checked. The restaurant was the last straw. I think that breakfast at a price of 500 CZK should correspond to 4*. Breakfast was from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Those who came first at 6:30 a.m. had a choice. Otherwise, at 7:00 a.m., all the food was already missing and it was not enough to replenish it, let alone harvest it and bring the tables back to use. It was a superhuman task. No wonder. Some Asian tourists still do not know that food is not thrown on the ground or on the tables. When entering the restaurant, sometimes it looked like after a big party. The food was cold, insufficient and the same every day. All for the Asian clientele. Bones from the "meat" in the sauce were not enough to break a tooth. the pool was beautiful, well maintained. In the afternoon, there were always masses of Asian people, they didn't belong in the hotel, and until the evening hours they ran wild and hollered, including children. The music played insanely loud from 5 p.m. until the morning hours. For such money, we expected a standard hotel and not a passer- by

Beautiful place to spend the week, amazing view of the ocean, breakfast was acceptable. Hotel offered varied services such as tours, rental of scooters. Highly recommendable for a relaxing trip.

Lovely. We chose the panoramic ocean view room and it was awesome. I booked 2 rooms and I was able to use the middle door to move between each with ease. The sunrise and sunset could be seen from the rooms and or on the balcony. The hotel room and public spaces were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They even helped us to book tours while there. The food was good and the menu changed every day. They have a restaurant and bar that has fire shows at nights and it’s fun to watch. I would definitely recommend.
