The property is right on the boardwalk and walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The area is very touristy and right next to the cruise port so it gets very busy on days when a ship is in. It was very difficult to park at the hotel for check in due to the small, busy roads outside the hotel. The restaurant on property is one of the nicest in the area. This place would be great for someone who wants to mainly stay in this area and use the hotel amenities such as the restaurant and beach chairs. Also someone who may not be renting a car and wants to be able to walk to their destinations.

We really enjoyed our stay at Holland House. The hotel was lovely, water was nice and beautiful environment. The food and drinks were also great. Spacious rooms and updated. Would definitely return!

Beautiful location providing amazing views of the harbour and cruise ships. The staff was great. Especially the beach and lounge area staff! Treated you like family. We would definitely go back there

Had a really great stay for the Chris**as holiday. The location is the most impressive aspect, with a retaurant/lounge area really cozy. Lots of activities at night even with loud music it was quiet in the bedroom. Walking distance to several restaurant and at the heart of the shopping district. Just be warned there’re fees for parking, breakfast (if you don’t pick the option). The restaurant is good but a little bit pricey you can have best bang for your buck by walking around with diverse cuisine. Duty free is close also, i would strongly recommend it.

Very friendly and helpful staff, superb restaurant, and functional, well-designed rooms. With the Philipsburg Boardwalk in the back and Front Street at the entrance the location could not be better. The Holland House also has a stable of superb taxi drivers affiliated with it. It’s hard to imagine there could be a better hotel in Philipsburg.

Diamond in the rough. Nice property, comfortable beds and close to ferries BUT are is sketchy, beaches were not clean, lots of people trying to sell you things, so not relaxing and did not feel safe in the area. The area is really run down and sad to see, this was the ONLY nice looking hotel option I saw in the area. If I had children, I would not feel comfortable for them going out alone, I didn't even feel comfortable going out without my husband and we are from Brooklyn and New York City.
