Lovely hotel and staff would definitely stay again. Keep doing what you're doing I can't fault anything. Food was great, room perfect for us and staff were lovely and made you feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Also great location for getting out and about.

Visited India after 16 years and decided to stay in the hotel. We chose the Grand Ambassador based on the reviews and were not disappointed. It was a great hotel, staff were very helpful and polite. Bedrooms were very clean and tidy and serviced every day. The hotel reception ***ger Rajant was very helpful and is an asset to the hotel. Will definitely be going back

Having stayed in Delhi for two nights I travelled to Phagwara, Punjab. My uncle who lives locally had booked my family including 3 children into the Grand Ambasador - and I was worried. I had for ***y years stayed at the Cabbana Resort and Spa in Phagwara at a cost of near 80 - 100 pounds per night. My booking was for 7 nights including breakfast, we had an interconnecting room. Upon arrival the hotel stands at odds as it is quite a busy area by the railway station and there is limited parking unlike other large resort hotels. However that is where the oddity stops. This is a clean, purposeful hotel, with great service and in room dining options that do not break the bank, and the food is spot on. There is western, Indian and Chinese food to opt for and the staff are attentive. The en suite was clean, with a glass enclosure, the shower head was limescale free and loo roll replenished daily and complimentary mineral water. Minibar had all western treats (crisps, chocolates and drinks), free Wi-Fi and a led tv with local channels. Do not get me wrong it is not a leading hotel of the world 5 star but when you pay 32 pound per night it punches way above its weight. For any NRI who wants access to shopping, banking and the surrounding villages to visit family then this is a great place. Only downside was loud music till midnight but hey it was around Chris**as and New Year. We enjoyed the roof too party for new years and met ***y families there and one was staying for 6 weeks for a wedding. Spot on.

Good sized rooms and clean throughout. Excellent menus for all types. All staff are very helpful. Very good location in Phagwara if you have any shopping or business to do. Negative - noisy parties can last until 23:30pm on some days.

I’ve been coming to Phagwara for over 40 years and have seen the transformation over this time. The grand ambassador hotel is a much needed addition to this city. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it and ***aged to experience it for the first time. My visit was for a drink and snack in the evening. When sitting in the terrace bar, it’s hard to believe you are in Phagwara! Lovely setting indeed, highly recommended in the evening. They’ve a huge screen showing live sports events. Good variety of food and drink, very reasonably priced.

I had a wonderful experience with the breakfast chef, the Restaurant ***ager Mr. Romit, and the front office team member Mr. Rajat at the hotel. The chef's cooking skills were impressive, making the breakfast absolutely delicious. Mr. Katwal's ***agement ensured a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, Mr. Rajat and the front office team were welcoming and helpful, making my stay even better. The combined efforts of these individuals contributed to a fantastic stay, and I'm grateful for their contributions to my positive experience at the hotel.

Best Hotel in Phagwara and surrounding area. We had an excellent time. Couldn't fault anything. Staff are so friendly especially Rajat. Chef was exceptionally good and our food was prepared to perfection. Thank you Grand Ambassador for making my family vacation fantastic.
